4/27/2023 12:13pm Have you measured fork lug offset? Lug offset in new forks can be 2mm less causing total offset change of 4mm. Just a possibility that came into mind.

2/20/2020 10:25am If enough children/teens are put in wheelchairs or die the coroner’s department will shut this sport down. A foot peg to the spine can kill. A foot peg to the abdomen can kill. Road racers wear leather not just for road rash, but also for impacts. Neck protection reaching around the helmet. Abdomen protection. In motocross ventilation is needed, why not protection to key areas allowing ventilation? In Australia body armour is mandatory. mx/sx riders with no upper body protection will kill our sport. It is not just about comfort. Bikes with too much power and ability for amateurs is...

2/27/2019 10:32am Like it or not I think Electric bikes will be the only way to save our sport. Environmentalists will be having hard time to get tracks closed when there is no noise that they can complain about. Also in my opinion the tracks have to be made safer for less skilled riders. In my area western Finland there are still lots of tracks but amount of riders has steadily decreased. You hardly ever see any 85cc riders at the tracks anymore. I can't blame the parents because insurance fees in Finland are stupid high and are only getting higher because...

2/18/2019 11:18am Arai are where they are for a reason. No gimmicks, no BS. Have a look at their egg shaped shell and tell me that wouldn't have been of benefit to Peick; especially how he took that impact. Arais are at their strongest at that point, and have a smaller eyeport (which some find annoying). Most helmets are covered in scoops that will dig in to dirt, catch, and wrench a riders head around. Arai vents snap off or pop out. Fox/fly helmets are effectively shovels in comparison. I won't wear anything else because that's all they do. They make great...

I can’t like the guy. Don’t mean to piss anyone off, but I can’t help it. He’s been a rubbe me the ring way ever since his first 250 championship and I just don’t like him. He likes to dish it out, but cry’s when it’s done to him. No disrespect to anyone who does like him, I just don’t.

JMX82 Liked a reply to forum topic Moto is on the Decline?
1/15/2019 1:57am I think motocross decline is sum of many things. 1. Lack of places for beginners to ride. Back in the day you could practice riding in vacant areas without getting trouble but today people call cops as soon as they see dirt bike ridden n anywhere else than on a official riding area. When I was a kid we used to ride every day with my friends after school at local sand pits with out any parent guidance. Today you need your parents to take you on the motocross track located middle of nowhere and pay track fee to being...

125mx.fi Added a reply to How MX safety has evolved in the last 30 years?
1/19/2018 7:48am There is really advanced chest/back/shoulder protection available from few manufacturers (Leatt, Acerbis, etc), that's not a problem. Problem is that no one is really interested to wear them. Male mind is programmed so that in twenties you feel invincible. We see results of that every weekend.

12/9/2017 11:37am Looks nice! It will be fast rewwing engine, helped by lighter (80g) new model crank. However small head volume might limit overrew. Did you make it 1,0mm squish? My experience in adding preload to governor is that 3mm is too much on stock cyl. Btw theres three different wire thicnesses on governors so they are not all the same. Interesting...

12/7/2017 11:12am 93 cylinder have exhaust powervalve and transfers lower than 90-92. Check them, you might be surprised. 92 porting is very close to same year RS125 road racer. Since you started porting better check all options :D .
