Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
Haven't been to sx in a couple of years because its just not worth it anymore. I did go to Budd's Creek this year, but it'll be the last time I go to an outdoor national until they fix the ez-ups on fences issues. That and the fact that the guy next to me covered my truck in so much sprayed mud that I literally had to replace my windshield because of all the chips and scratches. The trip to Budd's Creek ended up costing an extra $700 as a result. I'll be watching from the couch from now on.
Cool story. I pass on paying $46 to watch MXdN almost every year but haven't made a thread yet to bitch about it.
This year is the last year I’ll be attending A1 and I’ve gone almost every year since the early 90s. The vibe is gone, they’ve lost touch with their core audience. I can barely sit through the highlights. It’s a bummer but it’s how I feel
Except you're literally here bitching about it......

Feld is clear about what they want. Dynamic pricing. Venues that will make the most money. Why was SMX in soccer stadiums? Because they want to charge a premium overseas in a soccer stadium. Higher ticket prices are just part of the global scaling plan, as they've done with Monster Jam.
Sure do Miss my hard card days ……
Yeah these are destination prices, not local prices. The days of watching local boy Larry Ward win a 125 heat race at the Kingdome at his 6th supercross are long gone (38 years ago)!
I can say the economy is not going to help this year. The Texas State Fair this year lowered prices, and videos show it's definitely slower. People are about to be done with their spending, and we'll see another 2008 scenario. It's coming, it's always the lower incomes that notice things first, then, when you see the guys here who have been posting, no big deal with $200 a ticket saying something. Then you know. 2008 started way before 2008. I was on motonews 2006ish etc saying s was gonna hit the fan. Everyone posted, it's the most homeowners in history. I was like, I know, and some shouldn't own.
I checked the Arlington round looks like tickets range from $59-125 including fees, thats about what they were last year. To me that is not to bad a price for an all day event (assuming most people are there from 10AM-10PM). I always go with a group and tailgate, burgers and hot links on the grill and a couple cases of beer (that comes to maybe $10 per person for food). Also split the parking which probably comes to $10 per person. Theoretically you can do it for well under a $100 per person, and for a full of fun thats relatively cheap.
Quality bourbon will definitely help with "elbow grease."
It hasn’t lost value and yes with inflation my $50.00 of 10 years ago would be about $70.00 today.
I guess strictly speaking then it has lost its value to me as I think about what I’m writing here.
I know that’s illogical and based on the above I should be willing to spend $70.00 but I’m not.
Dan has it figured out.
I’m in ATL so won’t be going anyways. But if they had a race at the speedway, I’d pay the $.
I'd love to listen to that!
Hopefully we get our tariff refund checks before January. Can’t hardly afford $7 diesel.
And I can watch the games on a tv with rabbit ears instead of paying for a streaming service to see it
Dude...it ain't got got nothing to do with you or what you said. Some folks just ain't right.
I watch at home now. Watching the pros hit those triples and rail the corners up close is as cool as it ever was. Supercross hasn’t changed and $200 is chump change. I’ve changed. When you’re older your tolerance for the crowds, parking and just your fellow human beings diminishes. Your favorite recliner, big screen with your dogs looks better and better.
Pit Row
As an A1 SX live-viewing participant for over 20 years, I agree. It's pretty nice watching at home these days. I will be checking out one of the VIP experiences for the first time, I figure I have to check it out at least once and see what it's all about. If not for that, I'd be at home this year.
My wife and I are going to the Tampa SX since they're back there this year. We went a couple years ago when Mookie won. I don't remember what the tickets were, but I am curious to see what they'll be this time. To me all tickets are high.
Especially concerts. My wife has a friend thats a huge Morgan Wallen fan. She goes to see him anytime he's anywhere in Florida or Georgia. She buys vip seating, and I'm shocked when my wife tells me how much she spends each time. But these concerts just keep selling out.
SX won't lower prices as long as people are paying.
I usually wait until last minute and get okay deal, concerts too. Not the best seats of course. Don’t get me started on lift tickets though 😣
That is all you need and some buddies to watch it with. Done n dusted
I won't go to a supercross again until they change the format. 6 of 8 races being only for gate pick is a terrible value even before factoring in the high ticket prices.
This
I'd rather just go ride....
Isn't that what this thread is for? The whole sport is too expensive to watch and or attend?
Last year, a bunch of us locked down a box and it was basically $100/pp. It was cheaper than sitting in any of the 100-level seats with a much better experience (private bathroom, better concessions, dry when it started pouring). Worth looking into if you can rally up 10 or so friends.
No Supercross in Philly this year, and Baltimore/Met Life are too inconvenient at this point in my life. After going for so many years, watching (falling asleep) on my couch is my favorite spot for Saturday night
Congrats!!!
i retired when ely retired. i was so fed up with the broadcast show, horribly commentators. the nationals went to shit with the comercialization of the seating/VIP. i just said fuck it. cancelled all my moto media subscriptions. i'm over it. been a lifer since 1981. cant take it anymore. did not watch any of the supermotorcross finale. dont even know who won.
I will be taking the 3 grandkids with me and it will be worth every cent I pay. I’m still working construction so it’s a big hit to my bank account. But it’s moments like these that motivate me to work. I love going to SX/MX … prices suck but I’ll skip a vacation to hit the first 3 rounds
