Hmmm, that’s a scary one… Did you have any big crashes prior to this? It is clear it cracked previously, then fatigued over time till it broke through completely just recently. But what caused that is the question… Stems in general don’t see a lot of stress unless something is out of whack. Over-tightening the bearing won’t do it. It’s much bigger than that. Discoloration on the stem seems it cracked another time and the last time was the final straw.

One of the only things about being an old dorky white dude is I can drop out of the blue the line... "come on guys, its not a rocket appliance" And i get young people, in shock, dropping their vape pens, with enrgy drink coming back up, laughing.

In his last race at Ironman, he scrapped together his 92nd career top 5 overall in the 450 class tying him for the most all time in the class with Mike LaRocco. It was his 125th top five regardless of class, most all time.

I will remember him as one of the classiest champions our sport has ever seen. Won't be the same without him.

He will be sorely missed but he went out on his own terms. He's absolutely one of the baddest dudes to ever swing a leg over a bike. Enjoy the family time, Eli!

The problem is Steve more than JT imo. Steve always has to be right and when JT brings up a point that makes Steve look dumb he just moves onto the next subject.

Harrison couldn't have gone any wider and that's a very tight section of the track.

I was on Prado’s side with this until I saw the video Matt Burkeen posted where Prado waited for Harrison after the finish line. All good to express your frustration, but to dump the clutch and roost him afterwards was a chicken sh1t move. Jorge didnt lose that large gap he had on Jett because of Harrison

Somewhat in Harrisons defense, he is usually one of the last guys lapped in a race so he is still trying to catch up and get the guy in front of him, not just circulating to finish. And being that he is the last guy lapped that means it will be in the last couple of laps of the race when there is a battle for the lead.
