At that point Deegan was noticeably faster and could have easily made a clean pass that lap. He would have left with a 20 point lead, team gets a 1st and 2nd, less tension on the team, and crowd does not boo nearly as much…and make less potential enemies on the track. btw…I was there and then watched the replay at home. Cycle Ranch was my home track until 2020. Great track that could/should have been a National instead of Freestone. Always worth a ride. Don't know about their bike rentals since that's something they started since I moved away. September in San Antonio.😳 Will most likely easily hit 100 on any given day. Sometimes cools off to 80 at midnight...have seen 90 degrees well into darkness. Take water, drink more than you think you need to. Drink some more. Ride early...there's a reason folks in Texas put their bikes away from June to October.

Davies is pretty much the anti-Deegan. Likeable, humble and took that on the chin better than any teen I know. If you can’t root for that kid, you can suck it.

The only thing worse than a sore loser, is a poor winner. I'd rather be Davies, he showed maturity and class, something Deegan knows nothing about. The troll-souls out there just can't stop jerking it to everything he does.
