I honestly can’t understand why so much focus on the broadcast crew and the things they say. The racing has been great in both classes, I honestly have no complaints about anything other than I don’t care for the split screen and even now I’m starting to get used to it.

well, when Haiden holeshot the first moto, i thought Weege was having an orgasm.....then he dumped it and Weege left the booth for cleanup. Seriously you couldn't tell the pre-race hype by the NBC booth regarding Haiden's better than good chance this was his day?

the dangerboyz don't like facts....they also don't pay attention when the Lawrences are extending their lead over him while he is slicing through an uninspired pack.

It was so refreshing to have JT missing from that segment. It would have otherwise been constant arguing. Very insightful segment imo.

Hear me out: These bikes are setup to go race pace. When a rider isn’t comfortable, sick or just not able to ride the pace they do in practice, everything feels off. When everything feels off, the rider is only capable of whatever pace they want to go and it isn’t race pace. The delta between race pace and comfort pace is probably 2-3%. It’s not much on paper but it’s a lot on the bike. When one gets older or recovering from injury, the comfort pace becomes more preferred but the bike setup stays the same.

Why are yall getting your panties in a wad over this? I swear I've heard US moto media guys shit on MX2 for years despite the fact the riders finish the same/better when they race 250 Nationals. But Malin makes a comment about MX2 riders being better at Southwick and that's crossing the line, apparently.

I really don't think its controversal to say that the top 5-6 MX2 guys could go over and win Southwick. MX2 is probably at an all-time high level and the US 250 class is not at the level that we're used to.

Cheers to the Martins... Wonderful motocross track!! perfect amount of 'rip' leading to only ruts where they belong - in corners.. Limited Easy-Ups blocking fence-lines Zero mulch Did I mention it's no cordory pants / hair comb straits? Attention ALL slot car tracks .. please adjust accordingly

firemedic301 Liked a forum topic Deegan “riding the leaders pace”???

James and Weege kept saying how “DEEGS IS RIDING THE PACE OF THE LEADERS” as he was making his way thru the pack. Now I get he was slicing the pack apart going from 31st to 4th. However, after lap 2, Deegan was 27 seconds down. At the finish, Deegan was 56 seconds down. Great comeback, 100%, however, “riding the leaders pace”? Absolutely not, the Lawrence boys were 2-3 seconds a lap better then him the whole race. 2nd moto, if Jett didn’t wad it up, he would have been 25-30 seconds ahead of Deegan on a clean start. Doucheboy is just going to have to get used to the fact that the Hunter Brothers will always beat him indoors. And the Hunter Brothers and the Coenen Brothers will always beat him outdoors. But daddy gonna get him those clicks, though. #youtube baby

He has gotten no closer than round 1 and people are talking like it’s consistent progress 20-30 seconds behind whatever brother is leading every moto pretty infallibly. Great rookie season if he didn’t make a shirt that said RIP to the defending champ and claim he was going to win. He set that bar too high himself. That’s on him for not meeting unrealistic standards.

Too bad his antics, mouth and personality make it very difficult to like the kid. I’m VERY surprised he’s not a frequent crasher given how he rides. Kid has mad skills. I’d like to like him but it’s just not in the cards. He could be a class act and America’s darling but half the fans of the sport can’t stomach his BS. He ought to go watch how Dungey handled himself.

Not surprised he hasn't won a moto, I'm surprised he hasn't led even a lap. Not even one lap, cmon. There's always a time the rookie will get a start and lead for like 15- 20min, before finally getting passed cause he's all pumped up. He's got the misfortune of going up against a couple of complete breasts in the Lawrence's

I feel like people just invent things for Deegan that is never was reality based on how things actually went. He came out lack-luster for SMX-next, had a good but not world-on-fire rookie SX season, same for MX, but he was always stronger at MX at that point, and built into his career improving each year to his last year on the 250 being what people would consider dominate. People also talk about his style, like he is reckless, but he really doesn't wreck much at all. I mean to me, this is right in line with what he has...
