Week off after this one... No info, but I suspect he misses this week, takes the extra week off and comes back for Red Bud. Nobody wants to miss that one.

Istn it already more or less confirmed that he MIGHT come back for SMX? Thought its been said on Pulp.
Anyways, pretty sure Sexton has absolutely zero interest in wrestling that green pig around RedBud and would happily sit this one out.
Nothing confirmed or announced. Just speculation on everyone’s part so far.
I’ll come back and admit it if I’m wrong but I doubt we ever see him on green again.
brain damage....
People said the same thing at Pala last year. He'll ride the last nationals and SMX I think. But next year? Yeah, no chance.
Anybody else see the irony in Kawi stating he is injured due to a practice crash and side stepping the bike malfunction?
Well, he is a professional motocross racist, so why would anyone be surprised?
A while ago I said that he was one more crash away from this. Let’s see if it’s true…
Too bad, I wanted this union to work, even if in my thoughts I knew it was doomed. Chase is running out of options, talented as he is. I feel sympathy for all parties involved, yet they all should have known better.
You mean you have brain damage? Roger that....
They said his knee was swollen up and Chase commented that it was not good. Knees take a long time. If he wants to leave Kawi it won't be easy, and with Yamaha the only possibility, it would be with a large pay cut.
Missing all this seat time will be detrimental to his speed. You can't miss that many gate drops and expect to come back and immediately battle Jett, and that's before even factoring in the bike.
If he ends up back on blue and the same cycle repeat: struggling to get comfortable, pointing to the bike, changing teams, and spending long periods on the sidelines, he'll eventually fade into irrelevance. The sport keeps moving on, he can't afford to keep hitting reset.
It doesn't seem kawi believes there was a bike malfunction. They stated the facts they have. Which is it was a crash during practice. It seems the bike malfunction is still at least somewhat speculative. 🤷♀️
Pit Row
He did ride the bike back the pits after the press day crash so not really sure if it was a bike malfunction. Idk, but looked very similar to a mistake I made once stalling the bike over the big table at WW ranch.
Chase is in a can't win situation at the moment. If it is a knee people are going to say "well Jett was back within 3 months"
😆 Haha!
Surely a week post-crash everyone in that camp knows the extent of the injury, right? From a hard knock to any kind of actual damage surely was determined Monday with scans. So why does it look like we're going to get week to week updates?
Further, interested to see what the '27 platform brings this relationship?
Given the history I wouldn't publicly state anything either.
Agreed. This comment by Dan Fahey seems strange.
Odd given multiple sources reported hearing bike bogging with Sexton on press day and Marchbanks during the motos… and the same issues last year at this track.. lol
That is not-insignificant evidence but it doesn't prove that the engine cut out on that particular jump, nor does it prove that it wasn't a rider error.
There's enough history and muddy water on both sides here that each has already suggested the other was at fault, and I doubt we ever know anything conclusive.
Agree.. but what’s more likely? An engine that has history for performance issues at that track, as well as it being observed by multiple sources both Friday and Saturday, or a professional rider failing to execute a basic jump that he has done 7 million times. There is a reason Kawi and Marchbanks have given no comment about the engine issues when asked by multiple people
But you can't work with each other for two years if you blame each other... I really ask myself how much Dan Fahie, who replaced Fischer back in 2013 has to do with the down swing with Kawasaki. Same with Reid Nordin leaving Kawasaki back in 2015 and probably a lot of others!
you could here his bike bogging down (almost cutting out) on other parts of the track just listening to the practice footage online?
Not the only bike either.
chase's crash was all bike imho.............surely someone that was there (ML perhaps?) could put this one to bed???
In the last two years Chase has had enough weird crashes which can’t be easily explained that there is enough doubt on both sides, which is the point I was making.
