To be fair, I think after he picked his bike up and cut the corner, he went by Simonson... who ended up 4th (albeit more than the couple of seconds back)

Am I the only one who thought Davies doesn’t need to race Deegan? He’s got his first championship to try and win, Deegan is faster, why risk it? Getting caught in the hype is exactly how you throw titles away. Congrats to Haiden, he’s come a long way in the last three years.

Have you ever raced in your life? Did you notice Cole making constant mistakes in front of Deegan? Those mistakes aren’t unlucky it’s Cole pushing too hard and messing up. Veteran move to not ko himself and ride it into 2nd.

Deegan wiped his nuts across coles chin. Hes so far in these guys heads, he gets near cole and cole blows every rythm and fucks the lead away. Its kinda sad to watch how these guys just turn in to puddles when haidens on the track. Theyre not mentally strong enough in this class to compete with haiden unfortunately.

Absolutely, the rule states a competitor in the class must be the one claiming for legit competitive reasons nothing else. Thats not saying the kid deserved to be shaken down by an MXsports official but the entire act was on bad faith from someone trying to work around the actual rules and reverse engineer a star engine. You can downvote...

No one’s arguing that… im just saying you are speaking as if you know without a doubt it was all Brian’s call to run a factory engine and strong arm the kid into dropping the claim. I would have thought Yamaha and star racing would have been making those calls - Brian is just a “fuckwit” after all.

Why are we still spreading non sense about this. The rider making the claim was given money from an engine guy out of Texas to claim a star bike. An mxsports official is who intimidated the kid making the claim not anyones father, the kids own words . Yes it may be a rule but it was shady all around...

Motocross isn’t a poor man’s sport and majority of the dudes lining up every weekend came from money. Then of course there’s a hundred thousand guys you don’t see on TV who also came from money and didn’t make it to the big show. Money doesn’t substitute natural ability and hard work. You aren’t very intelligent are you? They were both 19 at the start of the season and turned 20 the year they moved up to 450s.

Actually, Jett was 19 in his final 250 Supercross season turning 20 that year so the exact same as Deegan. Jett’s birthday is just later in the year. Let’s get our facts straight if we are going to spout off.
