It’s time for a new team Chase

This pains me to say, I bleed green.. I haven’t owned another colour dirt bike since 2010, But it IS the team / bike.

I see in all the other threads people say “but Ken just won on a Suzuki” or “he just needs to ride the bike” well Chase IS just riding the bike, he isn’t publicly complaining about it, he is obviously trying really hard and it’s not working.

Is Chase Waaaaaaaaaay too picky with bikes? No question.. but with how Prado looks after getting off that team and now how Chase looks on there, I think the writing is on the wall.

All of us armchair experts have no idea what it takes to be at the very top of the sport, but when Chase is comfortable, it’s poetry in motion. There are obviously limitations within the Kawi package, it sounds like it’s not lack of trying, but when you are chasing 10ths of a second there are tiny things that can become much larger.

If you watch Chase on the track, he is really trying, his riding style has changed, likely for the bike, but the two aren’t gelling.
I don’t know where he goes and I can almost bet he will be picky there too, but his talent is being wasted right now. At least he could win on the KTM, I just really don’t see it on the Kawi outdoors, unless they make major changes, which I’m sure they are trying.

It’s painful to watch someone as talented as chase riding around in 8th

Who takes him on at this point?

Star or Quad lock are the only two I can think of- or does he go MXGP?

Are we forgetting that he rode the bike and decided to sign a three year contract on it? There is no defending/feeling bad for this kid at this point.

While the bike is some of the problem, the much larger problem is Sexton.

Honda - constantly tucked the front. Left.

KTM - constantly tucked the front. Complained about the bike. Left.

Kawi - tucking the front. Complaining. Ghostriding. About to be 'banged up' and leave the series. Again.

I don't think star would take him, Bobby wouldn't stand for that shit.

He desperately needs a new coach/mentor.

His dad is tanking his career.

I recommend BT.

They have their top 450 rider in Haiden. Why would they need Chase unless he's riding for no money and just a bike. Some story on every team Chase rides for. Its time he takes accountability

He needs the hypnotherapist ghost of Jack Rhodes.

Where does he go?  Really, what are his realistic options?

I really believe it’s his dad.  I wish someone in the media would be a little more transparent.  A lot of them skirt weighing in on his dad but imply a lot by saying a little…

I think there is a significant chance that Roczen calls it a career, so that would free up budget for PMG to sign Sexton.

And start the “search for perfection” all over again? I don’t imagine any bike in the paddock is 100% perfect on every part of the track…so I doubt the grass is especially greener on any of them, or with any team. Star sure doesn’t need him, Honda probably doesn’t need a repeat performance…KTM won’t rehire him after he torched them like he did, HEP has Roczen to carry the brand…and he’d be a fool to go the Triumph/Ducati route.

Suzuki has a long standing reputation as being a great turning bike, why risk that on a guy you KNOW is going to put the thing on the ground in corners, and then blame the bike.

Well i don't see any other top level rider available for them to sign as Kennys replacement the day Kenny wants to hang up the lid?
I assume they want to have a rider with the potential to win, feel free to suggest someone else because i cannot come up with a name.

Maybe Chase just isn't fast enough anymore. A couple years ago he could keep up with Eli, but the sport has moved on. Jet, Hunta, Prado, and Deegs seem another level. Maybe 4th - 5th is all he has in the tank at this point.

The only team left that could make sense imo is Ducati. I expect them to get very serious with dollars and team effort for 2027 and so far the bike reviews are very good.

😂 if he can’t keep the Lawrence’s in sight he’s going to have the same problem with Lucas Coenen and Herlings.

Maybe, but will Chase be satisfied with a team that, while very good, is not factory?  I mean in the sense that will his ego allow it?

He doesn’t lack fitness and he can def hang with the best.

He needs to not crash. As soon as he dumps the bike, he’s done. Call it headcase, call it not jelling with the bike.

Something is off.

Before Kawasaki was the issue it was the KTM. Before KTM was the issue it was the Honda that he called the issue. There’s a common denominator here and it isn’t the Kawasaki!

RV was way better than Sexton and he didn't do well when he went to MXGP and the field was nowhere near as deep then as it is now

It's crazy that Prado said the bike sucked and went to KTM. Chase leaves KTM & goes green and the Kawaski gets 2 450 Supercross wins in a shortened season with Chase and zero wins for Prado on the KTM.

Then here we are 2 races into the outdoor season and Chase is leading Prado in the 450 points????

What season is the poster watching is what I want to know? It's definitely not the 2026 season. My advice for blockhead is to tune in and quickly watch the 2026 Supercross season that you missed. After that, watch the first 2 races of the outdoor nationals of the season and get back to us.

I wouldn’t want him on my damn team that’s for sure.   Dudes a fucking whiny head case that now throws temper tantrums. No thanks.

Dare to dream. That would be amazing. He gets away from Jett but really both Lawrence's. Lucas will be in the AMA. Finally an elite American in MXGP. You can barely count RV's failed European experiment. Never happen but fuck would that be awesome

Lucas is gone next year and Herlings is probably a couple years away from retirement. I think Sexton on a bike he's comfortable on (I know, BIG if) can beat the rest

Such a bad take and I see that over and over again. RV won an overall in just his 2nd race there and when he broke his ass he was above Febvre in points who by the way who won the championship that year. Cairoli and Nagl were obviously the top guys and going at it but even those two got injured that year, happens. The very first GP was the only race where RV really looked "off", but so did a couple other good guys.
