Nice opportunity for him.

I noticed he wasn’t at the Philly futures (the night show at least), which I thought he planned to do. Was there any word on that? His results have been improving there.

Skipped Philly as the test with the team was about two days later.

Star alone has like 15 riders in the 250 class this summer

It would be really cool if he's able to score a point this year once the field thins out a bit.

He will be fine my gues is around 20-30 points by the end of the season. Hes gonna be somewhere around 25-18. Not saying the guys 21-40 aren't fast but I think hes got a lil on them he rides with wey, tickle and alot of those guys. Kris wouldn't put him into the pros so fast if every didnt think hes gonna score points.

He needs one thing above all else-the FITNESS to 30+2 with intensity. If his tongue is in his spokes at the 20 minute mark he is fucked and it will be real tough to get into the top 20. Obvi he is fast enough to merit the ride, now he is in the deep end. Wish him the best. Great opportunity.

Congrats to him! He had great speed 2 years ago or so before he got a few injuries. He was a top5/podium B guy at LL.

The hardest part will be sending it on lap 2 of qualifying on all those new tracks.

I think he might be more in the 20/30th range though. Maybe squeeze a couple points.

Cool story and hope he does well. It wasn’t too long ago he was racing the C class because he didn’t really get into racing until later on from what I understand.

He just needs to get through it healthy, and build fitness. He had one of the fastest times at LL last year so he’s got the speed just gotta build the consistency and fitness from being hurt a few times the past few years.

You’re confusing him with his dad.  His best finish (outside of the C class) at Loretta’s was a 7th in 450 B.  He’s never finished inside the top 10 in 250 B or schoolboy at the ranch.  If he can score a point this summer, it will show how much he’s improved recently.

I think this is awesome. If he can stay healthy it will be a great season with highs and lows. Tracks like Southwick and Unadilla might be a pain in the ass but there will be others where he will be comfortable. It's a learning experience. Who are we to judge on what is appropriate results.  Who cares where he finishes, let him grow. This is huge progress. Congratulations to him and his great family.

I think it’s cool. He’s made a lot of progress over the years through pure hard work. I don’t care what connections Kris has, Aden had to put the work in to get where he is. Hope he can get near the top 10-15

Yeah I dont think he really went all in with the racing up until 3-4 yrs ago. He made a ton of progress since then

This was the coolest thing I heard on Pulp last night! So stoked for him and the family. Work ethic is one thing I suspect he has plenty of based on the real talk the elder Keefer seems to consistently put in front of him. If he works his ass off for the next few years and makes it to consistent top 10's, no doubt there will still be the obligatory Vitards here that'll say he had everything handed to him; which is incredibly unfair but we've seen it before, right?

Congrats Aden! Have a great first Pro MX season.

Really cool. Always been a Keefer fan as a test rider I looked up to Kris and the way he broke apart a dirt bike. Obviously a desert guy I have more of a soft spot. Awesome to see what he's done with his son. Very fun to watch. Good luck, can't wait to watch!

Not sure why some people are hating on this.

If you’ve been following the Keefers, or moto media in general, you’ll know Kris comes from a normal, hard working background, like the rest of us. He’s one of us, and has carved himself a name on the world of MX.

He always replies to me when I have questions, and has made me laugh my ass off multiple times with him on the podcasts.

So stoked to see lil keefer get this opportunity, even though I’m a little sad cus I’m a Kawi guy haha. But Pheonix Hondas look sick.

But the expectations yall are putting on the kid are crazy on this forum. Chill out! Let him have fun, enjoy racing pro motocross and chase his dream!
