So I do agree with some of this. He got impatient, and tried to make a move that wasn't there instead of waiting another lap. He's very good at being the hunter, less so the hunted..... right now. That camp as a whole seems to be able to fix weaknesses. I bet they work on it.

I have a 2008 Honda CRF450R with a Rekluse RadiusCX installed. Never flames out, I use it for mountain singletrack and moto. Amazing and versatile bike, even against our newer Yamahas and KTMs. Without the Rekluse - flamed out at Lake Havasu WORCS race, couldn't get it restarted for quite a while because I'd gotten the bike sooooooo hot in the deep sand. So you gotta know what you're getting into, for sure. 2008 was less prone to this than 2007, though, largely because the 2008 CRF450R had gear-specific ignition curves, which helped reduce this significantly. So maybe you’re thinking of 805 brewery? They have a sweet place in I believe Venice. When I was visiting there years ago it was a real cool set up and great food.

I see it here in the CA desert. UTV's are ruining everything. Almost all of our single track is shut down in Dove Springs, the other trails are completely whooped out and these guys in the UTV's think it's badass to do donuts right next to others camping spots. It's ridiculous and is ruining the desert experience. Maybe I understood that line I quoted wrong. To me it came across as not a safety issue, but more like a higher ups friend wasn't happy with the "disruption and destruction" of the land from OHV's using it.

She's right. Many Sxs users have no trail etiquette at all - they go where they want and run over whatever is in the way. Everything turns into a blown out whoop fest and single track ceases to exist. I'm sure it's way worse in the desert than here on the coast range. Hard to bomb thru dense woods on one of these things. We've all read the horror stories here about ignoring signage, one-way wrong-way morons, and on and on. This type of legislation was just a matter of time. We don't ride Brown's Camp or the Oregon dunes...
