Yeah, it sucks.. but i don't care because im not riding. Ill enjoy it no matter what like i assume most fans will when in person. I dont like mudders, and wouldnt be too happy if i was traveling a decent distance to watch. However, im an hour away and still excited to see these dudes ruin stuff in Cleveland. Im notching one off the bucket list and ive been approved to be a flagger for the day. It won't be easy but im still pumped. Lol

The forecast I just saw is calling for 20-30 mph winds with occasional gusts over 40mph.  To me, that sucks worse than the 1/4 inch of rain they are calling for.  I went to 3 of the last 5 races, and I sure am happy they were all in domed stadiums.  It might look more like The Deadliest Catch than Supercross tomorrow.

I don’t see any reason why Press Day would get cancelled today. No more chance of rain until tomorrow after qualifying starts. Hopefully they pull the tarps and let them rip!

Edit to add: just saw the track untarped...way muddier than I expected.

There's been over a week of seriously intense weather just west of Cleveland, and the entire midwest.

With numerous tornadoes, winds, and drenching rain.

I damn sure wouldn't want to be sitting in an outdoor stadium up there right now, for any sport.

Mud race be damned, just hope everyone gets out of there safe.

Interesting take on the, blair matthess show, about the day races, and the decision to have them on network television, not being the best way to present the sport to the, nonexistent, new fans.

Last Saturday night the wife and I went to the local circle track and during the Modified main my wife pointed out five, about 11-13 year old boys watching the Nashville Supercross on one of their phones. These kids did not look moto at all so that made feel a little better about the future of our sport but, they missed a good race.

I dont know how you can get 15 cars going WFO on a 1/4 mile clay oval for 20 laps and the worst damage was tire marks on a door panel.

Look at the actual rainfall amount on the forecasts. You have a 70% chance of a tenth of an inch if rain.

Thats actually a great day of moto. Overcast and a little.drizzle to keep the moisture in.

Predicted amounts are kind of a crap shoot. The forecast I’m looking at is calling for 0.37” which wouldn’t be terrible but would make it pretty sloppy early. Looks like the heaviest is coming in right at or just before opening ceremonies. If it’s less than that it could be primo, if it’s closer to an inch of rain it will be sloppy for all three races. Either way I don’t think we are getting a full on nasty mudder. Qualifying should be dry, which will make things more interesting since it’s a triple crown.

I wonder if they’ll cut it to one qualifier then LCQ’s to get the track tarped again? They could have it tarped from 11am-2pm if they did that. But that would also cut out all 3 Promoter Track Walks. The weather tomorrow is certainly going to have everyone on their toes and being extra flexible.

Looks like they pulled the tarps and uh, that's a lot of standing water. Dirt looks like high clay content, it's gonna be a tough track tomorrow!

Lean into it. Ironman 14 was first race my wife and one of my nephews ever went to. It was a muddy mess, guys were getting completely stuck in corners if they didn't carry enough speed, people were hopping the fence to help pull them out, Canard ripped second moto and made it look easy.... core moto memory. There will be plenty of other opportunities to take him to a normal race!

He's been to high point but not a supercross. We'll have a good time no matter what. For selfish reasons I'm a little disappointed, might be my last time seeing Eli race SX and first time seeing Davies, mucky track won't be the same.

On a serious note, anyone with half a brain knows there are guys who work for dirt works post IG stories of the current track conditions. I do believe vital just posted a video from the pits. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

Yeah, it really depends on how much rain they get during the day when the tarps are off.  It could just be serious rutocross...  Or it could be a full on slopfest.

Let's hope it's manageable.  And of course there is always the possibility that it's not bad at all.

And another one joins my blocked list. You are a clown. There are way more conservatives here than Libs. It's moto, not tennis.

Censor you and throw insults because you hurt my feelings. You're right, this isn't Tennis. Sounds more like the little Ms Pageants.

The only thing you can do to make it any better is to remind yourself how bad it would suck to have went to the the race.

Pfft...

Good grief...we had a Seattle SX in February this year and you Ohio boys can't handle some April showers?

Does anyone have a link to an updated agenda for the day? We just got to our air bnb about 45 minutes away. Have they moved any qualifying or main events around?

A good day of moto yes, supercross no. Big difference.
It’s not just that day, it’s the preceding day’s rain, and even if rainfall amounts aren’t big, already saturated dirt in cool temps will stay wet.

I just hope what’s been an awesome series so far, is not decided by a mudder.

That’s what I’d assume with that resume. I will say thank you for your service, but I also can say if you get offended by a post and need to block someone you are soft in your old age.

Hey lady, look at my post history. I’ve never posted anything political on here that wasn’t in a convo not talking politics. The rule is no politics so yeah, I’d love to follow that but it seems that it doesn’t apply anymore.
