Those 3 dnf’s have really hurt Herlings championship chances. IF he can bring it back then it will be a thing of legends.

Very impressed with both Coenen bros today. Maybe even more impressed with how humble and the level of respect they both posses.

Chad Reed gets a lot of hate, but Two Two was legit. Biggest names in the sport were on the team and they were beating the factory guys on a privateer bike, 2012 he was arguably the fastest guy indoors and out until Chadapault & Houston (was it Houston where he crashed battling villlo?) Honda took notice and started giving factory parts, but it’s a cool story. Steve did a great article on Racer X about the team, awesome read.

However it goes, Lucas might be Jett’s biggest competitor at motocross starting next year. The guy is next level just like Jett.

Amazing ride as an 18 year old first time on a 450. To be within 7 seconds of arguably the best motocross racer in the world currently and at his home soil to boot.

I'm not a Deegan fanboi or a Jett fanboi. I just appreciate good racing. Deegan is WAY ahead of where I thought he would be for his first 2 races on the 450. I expected 5-7th place while getting experience and learning. He's the 3rd best rider in the class (followed closely by Prada) on his second race ever. The progression is impressive. I didn't think he would sniff a podium until after Redbud, if at all. Won every race overall in the 6 outdoor races he competed in while retired in 2007. Lapped entire field in 2006 at the Millville National. Won...

As mentioned Jett has a LONG ways to go. RC won 3 straight 125 titles and then 7 straight 250/450 titles. And did it on two strokes, four strokes and different brands. Crazy how dominant he was outdoors. Add in 5 SX 250/450 titles, 1 125 sx title and then two perfect seasons and one more season where he won all the overalls.

At first I thought here we go...someone might finally put Ricky's legendary status of being the goat in jeopardy. Not anymore...skill wise other guys were better than RC...but that guy had something we may never see again. And considering he went through Mc, Stew and Chad and never got dethroned... stud

Good christ, this is not even a discussion. Let's talk in 5 years, Jett can't even compile consecutive 450 SX/MX seasons yet without injury, so let's just stop this for now. No mistake Jett is brilliant, but this discussion is for another day in the future. RC is to be lauded not just for winning, but also dependability.
