They’ve figured out that micro dosing is the secret to passing most test, especially testosterone.

Yes, that’s the new thing, better genetics through science, it’s crazy what technology is teaching them.

Adderall is some scary stuff. I had a girlfriend who would take it and become a different person, like a tweaker. It was scary to watch her check out from reality. I can't believe the stuff is legally prescribed. It seems pretty evil.

My partner got diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago and ever since she started taking Adderall, her life has changed for the better. Calmer, less overwhelmed, able to hold conversations, control her emotions, filter her thoughts before speaking and ability to stay on track with basic activities..

The mornings she doesn't or "forgets", all hell breaks loose due to the overwhelming thoughts of her high pace brain.

if you don't have ADHD and taken it, you'll act like a tweaker. But for people who have struggled their whole life, there is positives and a place for the drug for the right people...

It’s a big secret circle where everyone knows who is on what and everyone gets super lucky that no one exposes the whole operation and that Uptite(plural) just drops little hints on vital. But no names, ever. It’s amazing and convenient that it only gets leaked to anonymous vital accounts that can’t tell you anything of substance, just know it’s real!

Congress isn’t even this immune to leaks, it’s crazy.

Micro dosing testosterone lol..... so like take enough that your body produces slightly less and you end up with roughly the same amount in your system? But with the added benefit of potentially being caught cheating? Brilliant!

This is where people get their wires crossed..

The outcome and side effects are different for different people.. Someone who has ADHD isn't going to have the same reaction as someone who doesn't..

if you dont have ADHD, and take the substance, its going to make you feel like your ready to mow the lawns with a pair of scissors...

If you do.. you'll probably think you had a dud pill that doesn't work and lose your appetite for the day.

James has said this himself, When he was unmedicated. he become more of a danger to himself and to others around him on track.
you say he didn't need it, but how often did he crash? what caused them? lack of focus? himself said when the suspension came that he had long term condition that required it and had been using it.
high chance he had been diagnosed and prescribed for a fair while through prior years..

That would make sense. That's just trying to get more of an effect from whatever amount of testosterone that is present by manipulating the receptors. Microdosing testosterone itself will just down regulate the amount of testosterone you produce naturally. You don't get any benefit from testosterone until you've taken enough to overcome that compensation.

As truck said, microdosing testosterone isn’t going to do a damn thing. Until you hit actual supraphysiological levels it has little to no effect, which is also why test “boosters” are a scam

Take 25mg of Benadryl instead of 50mg if you’re taking it as a sleep aid. Wife gets the same thing.

never tried addy tbh, though id definitely benefit, but neutropics in the right form and dosage are massive massive advantages. adderall is old. theres other stuff out there now lol like modafinil.

i do endurance sim racing - focus and consistency are everything. keeping yourself in that flow state is hard sometimes if theres not a challenge right in front of you. this is why some guys ride better from the rear.

one day the causes of adhd, which is arguably becoming much more prevalent with each generation, will be blown wide open and nothing will be the same.

Modofinil and Vyvanse are both great. Both increase eye to brain function, alertness, response quickness etc. Only drawback is increased heartrate and sometimes dry mouth effects

When I raced, I would not take my addy. I don't even take daily, only when I need it. ADHD is a great thing to have sometimes. It's not new, they just put a name to it and a pill they can sell you for it.

And I bet nearly any competitive MX guy would pass an ADHD test with flying colors. Risk sports and all that.

Absolutely. Huge correlation between risky sports and ADHD. And totally agree with you regarding stimulant medications and racing. They increase your heart rate and your heart rate elevates much faster. Any benefits from increased alertness and stimulation is offset by fatigue earlier in the moto from having a way higher heart rate in my experience. I can see the benefits for training when tired, however it would also lead to overtraining and massive burn out by race weekends. Overall, I dont see stimulant medications being the performance enhancer people believe it to be.

This thread has opened my eyes. Did not realize the number of younger riders who needed medicinal supplements to ride/race. I guess that explains my abysmal results.  You guys are willing to go much further for a result than I am. Ride on

I came from the early days of MMA.  Lots of my friends are dying in their early 40’s and 50’s because of steroid usage, everyone was on them 30 years ago.   Nowadays it’s never been easier to get PEDS and defeat tests, but less people are taking the chance.  Also, Inhalers contain stimulants so that’s why they are banned in MMA.  I think the rules of Supercross will tighten up, there’s no real oversight by a commission , it’s like the wild Wild West.  Maybe it’s better this way , definitely is for short term but long term health side effects are no joke

90 years of research say it's one of the safest and best treatments for ADHD. You've been around drugs for a bit though so you know better than the entire world collective of psychiatrists, gotta love the interwebs....

I took adderall for about 3 years.

It nearly ruined my life.

The problem with the ADHD diagnosis is that it just psychologically affirms the person into believing their scatterbrained bullshit is a disease and can only be contained with amphetamines.

Adderall is most definitely a super drug. It also makes you batshit crazy, emotionally impulsive; sexually insatiable, and pretty much intolerable as a human being.

The initial addy rush is fucking amazing though. I used to walk over to a coffee shop right after I dropped 30mg. The euphoric wave that shit gives you is unbelievable. I was hyper focused for 3-4 straight hours. Locked the fuck in for hours.

Everyone in the software industry was on that shit (and probably still is), especially at the hyper aggressive software companies. I’m pretty sure everyone who worked at Salesforce was on adderall.

To this day, I can tell when someone is on addy. Them addy eyes are a dead giveaway.

This is called anecdotal evidence. Or, N=1. Your personal experience does not mean the medication isn't effective and safe for others. You wouldn't say nobody should use penicillin because you had an allergic reaction to it.

the corollary is, just because the Lancet says it's safe, does not mean that it is safe. im not pro or anti addy, but the med industrial complex is not in any way an objective, science-first institution, if it ever was. i don't know how anybody who lived through 2020 or had parents around when doctors were pushing cigarettes could credibly believe otherwise.

I don't like Adderall very much. I prefer Vyvanse, smoother, longer, I do not lose my appetite, I get a calming/focused effect once the initial blood plasma surge at +2hrs is over. I can think clearly and do math fast with no distractions.

And I bet you wouldn't know I was using it. My coworkers didn't for years until I told them.
