@rippaaa, I had a pro lic, from 2000 to 2002, sorry if my confidence bothers you, but considering this is vital and 75% of the guys on hear are just key board warriors I confident I can handle my own, im not saying I would have anything for guys like dv12, jt$, but top 10 I think is very reasonable.

But even if you had your pro license for 2 years you would not be a top 5 guy and ai doubt top 10. There's so many fast guys here like justin starling, uptite, jeff alessi, dv, pingree etc etc etc
I appreciate the kind words, but I ain't all that.

Anybody who claims they could finish top 100 of all vital members, I want to see their credentials. Would be interesting to see if they have anything to back it up. We already know the credentials of some, but the no name fellas, that's what I want to see. May provide a good laugh.
We may have 100 ex pro's on here ??? I've been around the country racing moto, I've been to a lot of races and no matter what little hole in the wall track i'm at.....there are always 4 or 5 guys that I've never heard of that are absolutely hauling the mail. You know legends in their own area of the country, Colorado was the worst in the 90's (Kip Sandell, Andy Atkins,, hope I didn't butcher the names, it's been a while) Jesus there where 10 guys in the expert class that could win and The top three had professional speed in my mind. And this is something you'll find at almost any track anywhere. These guys get old but are still fans and are probably still on vital at least a little bit. In my opinion to think that you'd get top 100 out of everyone on Vital , you'd better have at a minimum qualified for a national more than once. It doesn't really matter if DV 12 never rides anymore......how many on here think they can stay with him in the shape he's in ? He's got more talent in his finger than 95% of us do in our body.....in shape or not you're probably not beating him.

Sorry about the rant......What I'm getting at is that there are still a LOT of guys out there that either still do, or can for short times if needed, haul ass like they were 22 again and lining up in the expert or pro class.

How many members would actually be riding 125s though? I reckon some guys would take it that serious they would be putting big bore kits in between practice and racing Tongue Tongue

I think I'd do OKAY back when I was 170lbs. Now that I'm 220lbs, not so much. RIP on the hillclimbs.

Shit I should have read more carefully, on a 2015 YZ125, no doubt I would take the win.

I nearly won a online race on MXvATV Supercross last night in the 250 class on a 125 two stroke, I have this covered. I would have won if it was not for me being booted from the session on the last lap!

Truth - On a 125 two stroke at Glen Helen, I would be looking for someone to replace the rings and pistons for me at the top of the first hill!

I'm an ok intermediate 30+ guy but in the big scheme of things would get smoked by the average super mini kid.

I got lost on vital and saw this, it would be cool to update the list 11 years later!

Chiz, Starling are posting on here at times and are current pro level guys. I’m not sure who else is currently pro and post sometimes.

Hippie is most likely one of the faster guy on here. Such a sick style too.

I broke down and had a Whataburger yesterday for the first time in forever, and I can say with confidence that my speed on the way to the toilet was absolutely world class………

I'm 63 but I'm also 150 lbs, in great shape (I ride my MTB here in NM at 8500'), and race enduro on a KTM 150 so I'm comfortable on the small bore. I'm going to be lower mid-pack by the end of the race because I've never ridden Glen Helen and I'm a B-level MX'er but I bet I get a good start.

And that's an '05 KX125 in my thumbnail, so I got that going for me. Which is nice.

He needs the rules bent to ride the 04 cr125, a mans bike. Back in the old days he could race everyone on vital on the  04 but now the russian truck mafia is keeping him down.

The original post said “Where would you rank yourself” and “Privide some background to back up your claim”

How many members are there now ? I’m guessing I’d rank right around that number. Just kidding ! I think I could beat the members that don’t ride. How many is that ? To backup my claim I’m 66, overweight, beat to shit and bald.  But I ride my e-bike 4-5 times a week so my last lap is just as slow as my first 👍 I have consistency on my side. How many laps you talking ? 😀
