I hope this is true and not just a pr stunt for clicks like everything is now a days. Like someone said above it would be a must see race if so.
Battling inside the top 5 for sure
Hope it happens, I miss seeing 250 riders pop up into the 450s from time to time
1-1
Exactly!!!! I was thinking the same thing. For them to give a green light he must be more than comfy though.... i suspect they put a stop watch on him and his times are outside the embarass yourself on a 450 range.
I havent been this excited/nervous since Alessi put a target shirt on his back....

Dude, could you imagine? This place would have a meltdown
Highly likely he races the 250 class in SMX finals.
250 #1 seed with a 25 point head-start on the rest of the field versus 450 where the only chance he has to even qualify for the Wild Card /LCQ is to win that last 450 MX race.
These mf’ers, I swear to god.
nooooo
4-6 is where I would slot him in. Depends on how invested the 450 guys are in the last round. Most of the time the guys with rides are cruising the last round and those without are trying to put in a good performance.
I think this would be awesome! Does anybody wonder if a 125 would last 30 plus 2 with his riding style?
We know what you're smoking 971...
Top 5 easy IMO.
I'm with Daniel Blair on this. The sooner he starts riding one in competition the better. It would be a great way to get his feet wet with no pressure. I agree with Blair that he should go ahead and race one in SX next year also. I wasn't originally on board with that, but I think if he went for it without any sky high expectations it could be a really good thing. He might not be a lock for another 250 SX title either for that matter and that could be a real mental downer going into the outdoors if he failed. I'd go for it and then when motocross rolls around be ready to get some podiums.
Wow you really went out on a limb lol.
🤣
If what haiden says is true and basically we can’t even trust weege at racer x, than idk what/who to trust in moto media, and idk what else to say.
Holeshot and podium at least one moto… other riders will fear him!
Pit Row
Yaa I would’ve thought RyderD would’ve came around by now. Now that Deegs will be moving up, let’s see what Star Racing could do with RyderD 😁😁😁
Sorry, but ride her d is destined for a satellite team.
Battling Prado is more likely than JCooper & Hampshire - if he does wrap up title early
What a bummer
The RacerX article says Bobby “gave him the green light to do it” if he wraps it up early and wants to, not necessarily that he will or is committed to it.
I’m assuming the Deegans themselves would want to generate the clicks for this announcement if he did decide to do it. This could also be them getting in front of the story so if he doesn’t race it at the final, they can say it was never the plan or the team won’t let him.
One position behind RJ.
Assuming he does race the 450 at Budds…he’s top 5 for sure IF he gets a start. If he doesn’t get a start he’s still top 10. I just don’t see him slicing and dicing as easily during his first 450 start.
Good thing Stars 250 program is a satellite team technically.
damn we already got our PR post & errythang 😂😭 don’t do this to us haiden 😂
It’ll be awesome seeing him on the big bike. He looks fairly strong so he should do fine maybe.
He's been loosing points the last couple rounds. Hope he can wrap it up early. That will be fun to watch and give the 450 class some excitement.
It would obviously be cool to see, but possibly a bad move, career wise. No need to race these guys just yet.
Save it for the right time. IMO 🤷♂️
Edit: If he actually did race, I'd put him 1 spot in front of RJ.
