You found a real sucker to spend 6400$ on a 2 year old 250f. otherwise, I agree 100%
How much do you pay for track fee. How far do you drive? I just did the math and I can't come up with much more than $100 at the worst. That includes a burger at the end of the day. 9 gallons of gas at $4.59 and $40 track fee at Pala which is as far as I go. If I go to Glen Helen I'm only out about $50.
He said his friends all said the same thing until they saw the bike in person. I take care of my stuff.
That still doesn’t mean it’s a smart buy lol. That’s a great deal on your end, but I wouldn’t expect to get that lucky every year.

Well it’s spend $6400 on a clean low hour bike that the OEM hasn’t really changed in the last 2 years or spend around $10k for a new one after all fees…inflation is a bitch but $3600 still pays for a lot of tires, gas and entry fees
10k is also insane for a new 250F...... Retail + Freight is like 8900 bucks.... Covid's over and theres no reason to pay anywhere near list on a dirt bike. Out of state cash, I bet you could have one in the back of your truck for 8k at a motivated dealer and 8500$ at most.
That's a decent incentive. Too bad they excluded every 2 stroke model from it.
Every 2 stroke model is available for the deal
Have you tried to purchase a 2024 YZ250F? No dealer I know of is having any trouble selling them, so there's no incentive to discount the bike. Retail is $8,899 plus an additional $550 for freight. The best price I could find from a dealer that had one in stock was $9,648 plus TN sales tax. That puts the price over $10k with sales tax. Which is why I'm not buying one.
If you can find a dealer that is going to sell a new 2024 YZ250F for $8k OTD, let me know and I'll purchase one immediately.
100+ to fill pick up. 40-50 to ride. Dirt bike gas and oil 25-50. I bring my own food and im not sure what tolls on the highway cost since that's on auto pay.
You’re problably low on the bike fuel . Ovr 100 for a can of vp. I buy it in bulk from Waldo ,Wi. It’s near rd America. Aprox 8 a gal . I lived in Pittsfield,Nh. In 88 I worked for asplund tree experts. I bought a ford maverick with #8,s painted on like a stock car for 50 bucks. Haha. Rented a room out of a big house on the river, cheap rent . I borrowed a neighbor’s canoe all the time. Go for a ride & fish.
You read it wrong. Check the asterisk *.
Only the small 2 strokes are eligible.
The remaining have the option of *upgrading for a fee. Fine print says it all.
Yep this is what I was talking about. If you can get one for $8500 out the door all said and done I agree buy that over the used one but don’t see that happening except for a RMZ or maybe a KX with the rebates they are/were doing
$8700 23' crf250r otd at the start of Fall which is my go to time of year to purchase new bikes.
If you don’t blow your money someone else will when you Die. Just enjoy yourself every day like it’s the last day.
How are you guys scoring bikes under MSRP out the door? Here in central Florida I called around for both YZ125s and YZ250s and it seemed that I was gonna need to pay minimum ~1k over MSRP out the door. In some cases, 1600-2000 over MSRP.
Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price does not include the shipping and dealer build. Those 2 can easily be $1000
I understand.
However, lots of people are buying bikes out the door for less than MSRP…

Happy New Year!
Tried to buy a 25 crf450r today, quoted $11698 OTD, asked for $500 off and was denied...
Was quoted $9389 otd '24 300sx. Seems high to me considering what's going on with ktm.
Call Munn racing. They are advertising $6490 OTD on the ‘24 SX300.

Lot of green bikes were sold cause of 1.95 percent financing. I think today is last day for 1.95z. I didn’t get the screaming deal as some on the 24 KX I picked up a few days. But bike I wanted and good enough. Beat I could find and still had to drive 4 hours. I saw a 24 RMZ 250 on face book for cheap, can’t remember which dealer. I think one here in Houston, 6200 ish before fees if I recall.
I think there will be some really good deals on left over 24’s start to pop up in in the next few weeks until the spring. I’d guess most of the green 24’s bikes are gone.
Should be some really good Austrian bike deals, same for Suzuki, still quite a few on the floor of both if I had to guess.
Anyone know what profit margins dealers have? Like what do they pay for a bike vs msrp?
That is some great pricing…. He still has to prep & unlock them right?
I just bought my 25tc300 last week for 9500 otd in ca with 9.5% sales tax. They need to be at least $1k off that for a 24!
Munn has great deals n they ship everywhere! 🤙
There are leftover 24 300SX for $6399 on Cycle Trader. I turned down $7300 otd, no sales tax because I don't like the white as much and driving 4hrs through Atlanta twice. Wasn't worth it. If your near Cali or Washington state there are quite a few for that price. I'm digging the 25 Husky 300TC Heritage. Best I got is $9500 otd no tax. Probably a good deal on a Heritage. Redline has the white for $8399 plus fees. Deals will come soon enough.
Yes, just be responsible. Don't blow it all. Invest some. Try to avoid big debt. But enjoy life and don't stress too much.
About 1k, but they have to pay frt. and set up and reg. and flooring.
I paid 10500 otd for a 25 KTM SXF 350 in Michigan about a 3 weeks ago . Every dealer up north has some deals going
