3/10/2026 6:09pm Anybody out there that vapor hones carbs 38 PWK that also tears them down then rebuilds after vapor honing? I can jet it set the pilot etc but I'm not sure about complete reassemble of one. Any suggestions? Vapor honed, rebuild parts, etc I'll have $250 or so in the carb. 11/14/2025 6:14pm There are and damn near everyone is a bit different. None address the idle screw issue though. I have seen a couple that said they had to cut the idle screw spring a tad to get more adjustment but theres limited info on it.

There is a lot of great advice coming from this thread. Being about a foot shorter than you, I don't have any experience personally to dole out. But having been in the moto/handlebar game for 30+ years, I have seen it all. The ex-Indiana Pacers center, Rik Smits (7'4"), used to come into my shop and we would spend some quality time trying to figure out how to make him more comfortable on the bike. I don't want to come off 'smammy' but I also want to make sure we do our part to help riders find the right bar...

Im 6'4 and run ODI CR High bars with no risers. Probably the most comfortable I've found any bar in a while.

9/2/2025 2:08pm Offset triple clamps are in the future. Trying the cheaper stuff first. 103 on the sag. Had all that setup when I did the spring conversion, valving and rear bladder.
