3/10/2026 6:09pm Anybody out there that vapor hones carbs 38 PWK that also tears them down then rebuilds after vapor honing? I can jet it set the pilot etc but I'm not sure about complete reassemble of one. Any suggestions? Vapor honed, rebuild parts, etc I'll have $250 or so in the carb. scootscheerer Started a new thread Clutch BRC YZM500
3/1/2026 6:07pm I'm building a 05 YZ 250 with a BRC500 2T engine. 08 YZ250F front SSS suspension, 06 YZ250 rear, frame off powdercoat, Cerakote, new wheels, Hygge exhaust. No corners cut. The kit uses the 250 clutch, transmission and water pump. While I'm going to freshen up the clutch anyways, I was thinking of a Hinson or? clutch to handle the...

12/20/2025 11:15am I'm a 500cc guy so a 300 2t modern bike was the clear choice. I heard Huski was making a 300TC so sign me up! I love the power but 3rd gear in corners wasn't happening for me. I went to a 49, remapped ECU and that solved the problem. I think the power hits damn hard. Comparing the TC...

11/18/2025 6:39pm I just got mine done. Tps. .40. Power down the bike. Power up the bike with the dongle, twist throttle wide open 3 times in under 10 seconds. Unplug dongle. Power up dongle and did the other map. THEN red idle to. 52 THEN YELLOW cold start to .62. A couple pops on the starter and she fire right. I...

11/17/2025 9:35am I bought the service manual the other day but on my. The process is correct except after setting the .40 you need to clear the stored data by power on with wake up dongle, full throttle 3 times in under 10 seconds, fuel pump engages then power off. You then can set the other two. There are two different TPS...

11/14/2025 6:14pm There are and damn near everyone is a bit different. None address the idle screw issue though. I have seen a couple that said they had to cut the idle screw spring a tad to get more adjustment but theres limited info on it.

11/14/2025 5:39pm Well I screwed the pooch. Bike was fine but I have seen so many videos about they come rich from the factory and mine seemed a little spoogie so why not. Well... I bought thevinline harness plugged in the dongle for power and my tps was showing.738. I screwed out the red idle knob all the way out but the...

9/6/2025 7:21pm Let me try to figure a few things out with it and I'll give you a call. You need to get some bar colors. More blue on my Husk would look sick especially on great performing bars.

9/6/2025 7:18pm There is a lot of great advice coming from this thread. Being about a foot shorter than you, I don't have any experience personally to dole out. But having been in the moto/handlebar game for 30+ years, I have seen it all. The ex-Indiana Pacers center, Rik Smits (7'4"), used to come into my shop and we would spend some quality time trying to figure out how to make him more comfortable on the bike. I don't want to come off 'smammy' but I also want to make sure we do our part to help riders find the right bar...

9/6/2025 5:25pm Here are a bunch of pics. I help they help some. Sitting on the bike on the very front of the seat, my riders triangle looks great. I got a feeling I may be sitting too far back on the seat which is forcing my hands/forearms to have to work hard hanging on. As far as do I get a...

9/3/2025 2:22pm Copy that and your right, tons of great info has come from this thread and now I know things to look for. When I get back home I'll have to get some seat time and hopefully go ride, put it all together and I hope I come to some conclusion....other than they need to be blue. Lol.

9/3/2025 5:35am From Keefer talking about the FC450. I'd think the 300TC bars would be pretty similar but idk.

9/2/2025 2:08pm Offset triple clamps are in the future. Trying the cheaper stuff first. 103 on the sag. Had all that setup when I did the spring conversion, valving and rear bladder.

9/2/2025 6:22am I agree about no risers as that's my thought but unfortunately I've seen videos of tall guys using risers and it didn't make sense. That's why I'm asking. To confirm the obvious.
