The KTM deals have gotten worse than if I would have just purchased back in late 2024. I decided to wait it out earlier this spring to see if incentives improved in May, but nothing has really changed. That's the big question whether it will get better in June or remain the same.

I just paid $13K OTD 2 months ago so sounds like a great price to me

I am considering picking up another bike for woods riding. 2025 KTM 300 XC-W Champion Edition - OTD price is $12,400 ($11,500 before sales tax). I don't feel like this is a great deal, but it's the best price I can find currently. Just looking for opinions or a crystal ball. Would you continue to wait for incentives to improve...

I completely agree supporting your local dealer if all things being equal or at least close to it. I would 100% be down with that. Is building a relationship part of paying the $2k higher price that my local dealer is quoting me for the same exact bike that a dealer 3 hours away is quoting me? Is that the...

I stopped by a KTM dealership this week to see if they had any deals going. They had a 2025 350 XC-F that a customer purchased and traded right back in so it only had 1.5 hours on it. They quoted me full retail and fees minus the freight charge since it was not technically new. Their showroom was full...

I know they've updated the chassis, but I have not had a chance to ride a 2025 model yet. I would consider a 350 or even a 300 if I knew I was going to like the ergos better than my 2022. I'll have to find someone with a 2025 and ride it to see how it feels before I...

The ergos were improved on the KTM in 2023. You should at least sit on one to see how it fits. 2025 got a more comfortable/flexible chassis. The 2 strokes have a more forgiving feel than the 4 strokes on the current frame. XC and XCF have had closed cartridge spring forks since 2024. Other than those the Yamaha FX, Kawi X, and Honda RX models should all have suspension tuned more towards a blend of MX/trails.

Sounds like you’re just riding for fun so I’ll say get yourself a YZ250. Durable, adaptable and cheap to run.

Beta 300 RX is Swiss army knife of dirt bikes. Especially the models with 6 speed, 24 and older. For an MX bike mine is happy at the track, trails, single track whatever. It does everything really good. I installed a green inner power valve spring and backed the PV adjuster out a tick, easy to ride anywhere.

KTM 350 XCF. Personally not a fan of riding a 450 in the woods.

If you’re not set on 4 stroke check out 300 XC or TX300. They rip as well.

I just purchased a new 2025 350 XCF wanting the same thing you're asking for. In fairness I haven't purchased a new bike in 12 years, and any new bike was likely to be the best bike I've ever owned. But this things completely blown me away.

I just came off a 20 FC350 and bought a 25 250 XCF. The suspension is such a huge upgrade and it feels light and very lively. It does lack that hit of the 350, but that's maybe the only thing i can pinpoint as a downside. The 25 350 XCF to me, still suffered from flameouts and felt similar to my 20, a bit rigid, but probably could be softened up pretty easily. Loved the power though.

YZ250FX is a badass bike, 6 speed is a big deal for the trails and any wide open riding. I went from a 2018 crf450r to a '22 kx250 and had no regrets. I can ride the 250 harder with less arm pump and I only weigh 165 so power is fine edit: i cant spell for shit

A YZ250 is on my list for the reasons you mentioned. I'm in east TN where I do the majority of my riding. Mostly spent hanging out at a track or doing some trail riding with my family. My kid's are not quite old/skilled enough yet to hit any of the gnarly trails, so more open trails and casual riding...

I'm with you on this. Riding a 125 on some steep single track doesn't sound fun at all. Spinning a few laps at the local track on a 125 is always fun but I wouldn't buy one for my main bike.
