I can tell you from personal experience running into Craig at races that he doesn't treat every white person like he or she is racist. And there doesn't seem to be anything in what he said denying that racism infects all ethic and racial groups. It's a faultline across history long before the US was born and played its own history out. It's fair for him to resist people who dismiss or discount black Americans' experience and lay it on him having a "skewed" perspective. A jew in NAZI Germany had a skewed perspective, but that didn't make that perspective...

I know I have very little idea of what it may be like to be black. The closest I get is being a young male and being profiled by the police , pulled over often because of that, as a teenager in a mostly white area . And maybe I am very ignorant to some of the undertones of racism. I'm not trying to tell You what to be offended by or what not to be offended by.
