Let me cook? I feel the fire lol.

As for Andy being faster, I’d sure hope so. I could barely even ride without falling over when I did ride and that was almost 15 years ago, already.

OK I will let you guys discuss or decide for yourselves from only a white males perspective of the significance of what Jett said.  I already know 1% does not have much say or opinions in an industry/forum of 99%. Go ahead make your world out to be as you wish.

Made it another race issue, eh?  How do you know who is white or black on here? Or what the percentage is?

Oh and my name is Craig. Not Andy.  Back in the 80s not many black guys rode motocross (except at Ascot raceway 😂) here in Los Angeles. So often times I would be the only black guy at the tracks or on the trails.

So my white buddies would call me Brosho in reference to Andy also being pretty much the only black guy at the races.  I also have a couple of other black buddies who told me how their white riding friends would also refer to them as Brosho, because of Andy also being a rarity in the sport.  That’s why I have used “Brosho”.  My feelings are mine and not the feeling of Andy in any way.  So I hope no one confronts Andy about my comments here.  It’s also why I don’t post much here anymore.  I tried to change the name a bit to “CraigBrosho” but don’t know how.

Thanks for posting Craig, I'm glad you are sharing the perspective from a black man who loves and rides moto.  I hope the feelings you've shared specifically about Jett's N word video will make others here re-think their opinion about whether or not it's a nothing burger.  Most of us here are not black, so it's easy for people to brush it off like no big deal.  However, your opinion just goes to show everyone that the video is definitely offensive to blacks, and it should be dealt with in a professional manner.

Not everyone is going to agree with you about Jett's injury/racism/etc, but I hope everyone can agree that you deserve an apology.

Thanks.  My point about maybe a fake injury is because often times when scandals or drama similar to this comes out on celebs and athletes, their handlers tell them to lay low or stay out of the public’s eye for a while,  that is what my opinion is based on.  None of us really know much of anything except seeing an actual video of Jett using those words. Some here dismiss it due to his age at the time. But I guarantee you if I had done anything either criminal or abusive towards someone else at the age of 14 It would not have simply brushed away as a childish act.  I know for fact.  Because I have seen very harsh sentences towards other black friends who were 14 and younger doing “Childish things”.

I know I have very little idea of what it may be like to be  black. The closest I get is being a young male and being profiled by the police , pulled over often because of that, as a teenager in a mostly white area .  And maybe I am very ignorant to some of the undertones of racism. I'm not trying to tell You what to be offended by or what not to be offended by.

But how can You take so much from literally Jett speaking a couple words  with  zero context and nothing before or after of the video?

I get that there can be a lot of hate behind those words. But for me, it's hard to be offended by just hearing the word and not knowing what was said or asked before of after. He could have said just about anything before or after. And the way he was giggling just makes it harder for me to believe he was using the words in a hateful way.

I have the point of view that if the clips were longer they may not have made Jett look as bad. Otherwise why not include more of the damming speech from Jett ?  By clipping it like that while trying to portray Jett in the worst way, it makes me think that showing more of the video would make it clear there wasn't hate behind the words.

If Jett was directing those words at somebody specific or attaching some sort of hate with the way he was speaking I'm sure I would feel differently. I would be really disappointed. But for me, right now I'm just not willing to condemn him for what I saw in that video.

I feel like Mirtl intentionally used just those clips  and tried to imply the missing context himself to make it sound as bad as possible and make Jett look as bad as possible. I consider myself lucky that there is no single word I can think of that would offend me with zero context. So perhaps it's just that simple that I'm unable to put myself in that place . I would like to believe that I simple refuse to judge a person based off of such little info. I look at all of the other stuff Jett has said and done and he seems like a decent kid.

I also ask myself, if the Lawrences are these super racist monsters and horrible humans, why was Mirtl so close with them? At the beginning there wasn't the crazy money there is now. Maybe a hint of the talent. But Mirtl painting the Lawrences as horrible people , yet he would still be working for them if he had his choice, tells me that either they are not monsters, OR Mirtl is himself a monster. Otherwise why would he be so close and buddy buddy with them?  If he had quit, I may have a different opinion .But if that video was designed to make Jett look as bad as possible, its 2 clips that are from a long time ago and from a few years apart. And only a handful of words.

If Jett is really a bad guy, I feel like there would be much more than 4 seconds of him saying a couple words over the long period Mirtl worked with him. Maybe thats episode 2, maybe Mirtl is using this as a warning shot , and knows its not showing Jett in the worst light possible. For me it just looks like a kid that is saying words to get a reaction from the filmer. Perhaps a longer clip would change that opinion , but I believe that is why the clips are so short. So Mirtl can try to control how people feel about it.

A "skewed perception" means an interpretation of reality that is distorted, biased, or inaccurate due to various factors like emotions, experiences, or biases.

His account is biased, emotional and based off his personal experiences.

Do any of us have a truly objective perspective?

If you can treat Craig the way you're treating him and feel good about yourself, frankly, I feel sorry for you.

Man, I'm an old white dude.  Retired air force.  I've been around...not everywhere but places.  I've seen first hand the vile, ignorant, mean type of racism.

Ain't gonna lie and say I know how that feels to a human being.  I can only imagine.  I CAN say that, "I see it...and it aint right".

I ain't got an answer...I just try do better...be better.

Because he should immediately put out an explanation and apology.  It’s very simple.

Ah, so saying "special attention" is now the same as saying someone is special needs? Got it. You're trolling worked, good job lol

Don’t try to deflect now.  Im using the same logic as Brosho.

My actual point is, people say things in jest. They can be taken in a multitude of ways. Words can be twisted. Just because you’re bothered doesn’t mean everyone is, or vice versa.  Everything is not black and white. See today’s definition of genders for proof.

Unfortunately those are words a white man can't say in jest, they are offensive to many people....ask Kyle Larsen how it went for him by saying it in jest...hate to say it but the way you are responding to Brosho is in it's own way racist...

Maybe we can guilt team Honda to give Stav Orland a factory ride for the summer. Jett will offer to pay his salary.

Sort of a reparations stone that could kill 2 birds with one stone just in case there is a video of a pubescent Jett giving his views on the Israel/Palestine conflict. 🙃

I come here often and read a lot and don’t post often. Just thought I would give a perspective from a black person on this. I already knew what the outcome of my opinion would be. It’s happened before here 😂😂

I Pray Jett will clear this up immediately and not just ignore it. Regardless of the stance most white males here will obviously take on the subject.

I do agree. All of the videos should be shown and not just clips of it.

I think I have said enough and need to take my black ass back over to instagram instead of responding to things here 🏃🏽🏃🏽🏃🏽🏃🏽🏃🏽🏃🏽😂😂

Hahah now I’m racist? My girlfriend is Puerto Rican. Before that I dated an African-American, a Hmong, a Native American and a Filipino. But yes I am a white male, that is not just laying down to brosho’s take on this situation. Not a racist.

Hahah now I’m racist? My girlfriend is Puerto Rican. Before that I dated an African-American, a Hmong, a Native American and a Filipino. But yes I am a white male, that is not just laying down to brosho’s take on this situation. Not a racist.

Cool.....I said "the way you are responding to Brosho is in it's own way racist" and I will add that it is also ignorant...just because your dating history is colorful it apparently does not give you the ability to understand what those words mean to a black man...to argue with a black man about how he feels about the N-word and to downplay that feeling is about the most disrespectful thing you can do...

So who out of the few butthurt whiners has access to his DNA and heritage, the area he and his family is from is well appointed with boogerigines, sth sea sea and torres straight islanders

He could very well be the same as Reedy and have native heritage .

Coon means fuck all down there in the way of a racist slur when you grow up with them .

Mirtl is a sorry little bitch that would/should be thrown to the dogs and bashed for snitching

If not for the lawrences he would be working at bunnings  selling flower arrangements

Hey bud, scroll up and see how he likens me to a slave owner.

Just because I don’t agree with one black man, does not mean I don’t understand the meaning of those words.

I would also argue that the most disrespectful thing you can do, is kill someone.  But to each their own.

Those words don't need any context, it's very simple they should never be used by a white man in any context. Period.

Nope. But just the association with black/brown people does not make one any less of racist if they are one. Slave owners were fucking/raping a lot of black women. Does that make them less racist?

They shouldn’t be used by ANY man. No one gets a free pass regardless of color.

Your undertones are implying I’m doing the same.

FYI, just being white doesn’t make you racist, either. Contrary to the narrative you’re pushing over and over.

Because he should immediately put out an explanation and apology.  It’s very simple.

That would be a very reasonable thing to do.  If it was almost anyone but jett, this place would be demanding an apology.

Back before the metroplex swallowed up Frisco. They changed it to Raccoons in '02 to remove any ambiguity. lol
