AEO has 2024 Husky FC450s for $3K off sticker, $8195 + fees.  It's tempting....

Then took 5 days off in mid June when part of greenbay was opened up. I did my taxes then worked 4 months straight with no day off. I made 42 k which is nothing. I went with the 1099 Chicago Russian mod co.s then .if you fear death you would Never make it here. Funny they think I,m a Phily organized crime guy. Because when they threaten to kill ya. There always say oh Mr Anthony. There a massive trip. It’s like being in the weirdest movie . So I got that and us drivers joke around and get along good. Nobody cares about regular society stupid shit. It’s soo crazy what u hv to do to make anything now. Because I had to survive, now that is Super dead And w2 co.s unless your military for a Huge tax credit, your in the poor house big time. Welfare people make wayyy more than a trucker. The resell on used KXs are very low too. Marketplace is full of low hour KXs for cheap.

I think internet rumors of bad reliability hurts them a good bit. I loved mine.

Amazing they can stay in business then….

Again, I talked to Kawi guys all the time at the track. Most are happy with the quality. I have to find one day that their bike was a POS.

When I’m bored I will scroll through marketplace/craigslist for MX and adventure bikes. Some bikes at very fair prices are on there for months. I wish I had a bundle of money to scoop them up. Great time to be a buyer - terrible time to sell

That was a great socialist utopian diatribe void of all reality. If handing out $7K to the “middle class” was so great, why don’t we do $10K? $15? Do you want to really know why wealth inequality has risen dramatically, because it's not going to jive well with your utopian pipe dream.  As we all know most rich people don't just have millions of dollars sitting in a bank account, their money is tied up in assets like real estate, equities, gold, etc.  These assets rise in price when the currency is debased (hence the numerator/denominator example I gave earlier).  Now, who doesn't own any assets?  That's right, the poorer classes, so who in the end gets screwed when the government prints and spends money with zero regard for sanity?  The wealth divide grows as the value of assets (owned by rich people) goes up, while the poor are left holding the bag as their wages don't increase nearly as much as the currency is debased.  So no, the answer is not more government intervention, it's less of it, because they caused this mess in the first place and will continue to make it worse until we don't allow them to any longer.

Please refer to a time in history where the government removed regulations, cut taxes and stopped spending on society and long term to life of the working class improved?

It hasn’t happened and doesn’t happen.

Less government intervention will not curb the wealth transfer. The natural order of capitalism is for money to funnel to the big corporations. It’s why anti trust regulation is so heavily fought against and eroded by lobbyists - and with it the ownership of all industries is more and more concentrated, and with this concentration the people, the workers, suffer.

regulation is the answer.

regulating corporations and regulating the economy is not socialism and it’s not oppression.

so please finish reading a sentence, I specifically wrote ‘long term’, because receiving a healthy budget from Obama then putting the country in debt - DURING AN ECONOMIC BOOM -  to artificially inflate the economy is the most insane idea of how to manage an economy.

Wealth or success is not a thing you get and capture from Scrooge McDuck's vault, it is an actual manifestation of you or your family's wits, ambition, and achievements. If you do not have wits, ambition, or achievements you will not get wealth. Likewise if you have those attributes, no matter what happens to your wealth, you still will have wits, ambition, and achievements to regain your wealth. It is as simple as if I work more hours than you, most times I will have more than you. Many of those things you mentioned are actually socialist tenets. And it could be this country's socialistic policies that have contributed massively to wealth inequality. There are so many safety nets in this society that if you learn nothing, buy nothing, do nothing, earn nothing no bad will come of you. We all know a family that has an 18–30-year-old living in his/her parents basement playing video games and smoking weed all day waiting "for the economy to get better", or a "job in their field", or to "pay down student loans". Somehow our society has decided a person like this deserves healthcare and other benefits on par with someone who works 60 hour weeks. Ironically, I believe you would find most socialist countries have huge wealth inequality.

It’s why anti trust regulation is so heavily fought against and eroded by lobbyists - and with it the ownership of all industries is more and more concentrated, and with this concentration the people, the workers, suffer.

regulation is the answer.

regulating corporations and regulating the economy is not socialism and it’s not oppression.

it’s government by the people for the people as it should be.  But it’s not, so you fight against government rather than against the real enemy of the people.

Corporate lobbyists.

do you know why America has the worst parental leave laws in the developed world.  Because the baby formula companies want mothers back to work as quickly as possible so they feed their kids formula.  And they spend billions to lobby government to ensure this happens.

I believe you will find in history most federal regulations help big corporations. They have the economies of scale, lawyers, and cash to absorb the cost of most regulations. Smaller companies do not. You are also taking for granted government is more moral, efficient, and wise than private corporations. By imposing and increasing the government's will on the people you are introducing the very entity that brought us Vietnam, El Salvadorian death squads, and the nuclear weapon danger among other atrocities to our lives more. The government is not some altruistic, Dutch Uncle. Our founding fathers knew, the government is the real enemy.

The resell on used KXs are very low too. Marketplace is full of low hour KXs for cheap.

I think internet rumors of bad reliability hurts them a good bit. I loved mine.

They’re not rumors. Very many notable/educated industry people agree that kawis reliability is always in question.

Where do people come up with this?  Go read the 2019 KX450 thread that is thousands of pages long and has been around for nearly 6 years now.  It is full of praise for the bikes and I don’t recall any reliability issues in the thread with the exception of people complaining about how long the chain sliders last.  I’m willing to invest in aftermarket chain sliders to own a bike that is a bigger and bigger advantage the rougher the track gets.

Feels like the Covid days here huh?  LOL.  I guess at least Mike is not swinging the axe as heavy as Gibby did.  We all should put our better efforts to ignoring these threads, Vital does not care about our .2 no matter what we think.

So, are price cuts on new bikes and lower prices on used bikes a net positive or negative? I'd say it's slightly positive.

The market is correcting and going back to normal. How soon everyone forgets what it was like pre-covid. You could pretty much walk into your dealer at any time of the year and they had inventory. You could pick up your new bike with a discount and go home a happy camper. Covid hits and the dealers are wiped out. Everything is pre-sold. Provide a deposit and wait. Prices are retail +++ and with no discounts. If you want the bike you're going to pay what the dealer is asking or the next guy will. That was not normal or sustainable. Now that dealers have inventory again and prices are being discounted, a panic sets in. I see nothing to panic about. You can finally get a discount on an in stock dirt bike and not have to wait months to get it.

Exactly the bike market is just going back to… how it always was.

Both. Positive in the fact that bikes are becoming more affordable. Negative because resale took a bit of a dive and negative because the majority either don’t have or don’t want to spend the money they do have on bikes.

As long as new bike prices are falling along with used bike prices, I figure it is a positive.

so please finish reading a sentence, I specifically wrote ‘long term’, because receiving a healthy budget from Obama then putting the country in debt - DURING AN ECONOMIC BOOM -  to artificially inflate the economy is the most insane idea of how to manage an economy.

This is where your credibility goes out the window because you're acting like C19 didn't exist and affect those numbers.

We are experiencing the Typical automotive end of year model discounts on dealer leftover units to make room for the next years models. Used bike prices spiked when dealers could not get enough new bikes to meet demand and its now returning back to lower normal prices.

I have been in the MC industry over 40 years and have been through 10 presidential election years and people always get nervous and slow down on spending so the MC industry is always slower in those years. No different this year.

You know C19 didn’t begin in 2019 right?

From 2016-2019 the countries economic false boom was built entirely on debt debt debt rising the debt… faster than anytime in history… during a boom… an absolute economic disaster and if you can read a graph click the link… 2016-2019 was an utter failure… he took a functioning economy, cut taxes, increased spending, cut services and only enriched the rich — then covid hit and the fastest wealth transfer in history occurred.

record debt - then record transfer of wealth to the rich…

yet the trump dick riders still think that dick do be fire 🔥
