Whats there to argue about? 100% her fault. She's an adult. Look around you when walking across the fricken race track! Just because shes a hot women you shouldn't go easy on her and just play it off as a  "oopsie" moment and blame ama? If it was guy everyone would be roasting the shit out of him.

In light of the circumstances who cares what she does for a living outside of the races? Is it anybody's business? I'm glad nobody got hurt.

In light of what happened, do we need promo-women, hired only for looks only, to be doing a pretty important job?

So we don't need promo-women because of this now? Maybe ugly girls only? Old men, trained monkeys? What wrong with a kid being hired because they look good? The young lady had a job to do and screwed up, happens every day all the time, even some of us screw up at work too. Again, glad nobody got hurt.

1.  AMA has complete responsibility for escorting her clear.

2.  She has complete responsibility to look both ways.

3.  Neither did their jobs.

4. We are very lucky she wasn't hurt badly.  If the racers weren't slowing for that corner this could have been absolutely tragic.

5. People running this show have 2 strikes in 2 weeks now on track safety.  Pull your heads out.

The commentators completely ignoring it was an embarrassment. Y'all really just going to ignore something like that, and make zero mention of it? It's like they think it didn't happen if they don't mention it. Instead, that's the thing most likely to go viral and get sx some extra attention this week.

Speaking of commentating, why wasn't anyone shaming deegans attitude and actions on air, instead of making excuses for him. RC has pointed out other riders acting foolish, he sure celebrated his own triumph rider for cleaning hymas as well. He's celebrating the retaliation, but haven't people been penalized for retaliation?

Would Webb even want that? Pretty big chance he ends up worse off.

He was second at the time. He remained in second. He had a pretty solid night. He kept himself in the championship battle and dome of his competition are falling behind. If anything happens to Jett. Webb is fight there to capitalise.

RC did say something when Deegan went off track in the main. “The AMA may have something to say about that” or something to that effect. He was still pretty nice about it though.

Certainly a wtf moment, and she’s lucky to not be seriously hurt, but anyone claiming the incident had any impact on the race results are kidding themselves.

It's 2024 and there are still moto fans who don't treat women like regular humans. As it was mentioned on the first page, an official should have escorted her to safety (they should do that every single time).  She obviously thought she was off the race track and someone should have been there to actually get her off the race track.

The craziest part in all of this is "wheeels" gets internet service in his trailer.

A regular human would’ve pulled a Noren and gone to check on her.

These girls are often strippers. She clearly didn't understand the concept of them coming around for the first lap. I don't think the race should have been red flagged. Red flags and medic flags are for downed riders not spectators who wander places they don't belong. In that case drag them off and the race goes on

Link? Just for proof ...

Nope.

Caught both mains on replay this morning.

She was still wandering aimlessly.

Anyone else notice that Jett had to alter his line around her as well ??

But she really did screw up Webb quite a bit more.

That's so very obvious.

It still didn't explain why she was where she was.

So in your opinion, race officials shouldn't be responsible for bodies on a live race course?  Why not learn from this and have an actual protocol, ya know like a real organization would have.  If this happened in road racing you'd have dead bodies on the course.

No offence you're worked up for no reason, you can have all the guidelines, rules and safety in place but you cannot ever govern stupid.  ...

You talk as if this is a regular occurrence,  this is my first time seeing in over 25 years.

Not worked up, it was just stupid and avoidable.  She’s not there as a race official, she should have an actual escort off the track.

you seem pretty well informed LMAO. A person who has never been to a race, maybe, who has not paid attention, watched, maybe, who doesn't know what is going to happen, maybe, didnt run out of the track or was trying to cross in order to exit.
Feld is 100% responsible, They always have a guy guiding/escorting/tell the girl what to do. That Feld official should have been with her until she is clear of the track.

I'm on the same page as you man 👍 She's ok, it was super lucky neither her or Webb came off worse, but it worked out as well as it could have.

That doesn't mean it's all good.

A short and simple briefing should clear up what should happen and somebody else should accompany and assist to ensure there are no mistakes or accidents, as they normally do.

I'm sure it was just a shit happens situation, but hopefully it makes a point of focussing on the above. Here's to another 20 odd years without seeing it again.

I noticed that two men were near her and neither one tried to get her attention or pull her out of the way. So, I wonder if they were thinking it was ok also? If anyone replays it, let me know your thoughts.

Is it still called “motorboating” if you’re on a dirtbike while doing it?

WHY do we need a model holding a 30 second board before the start? Are we not hiring people based on skills instead of looks?.

If a person working on the track need a official/escort to guide them off the track they should not be there in the first place.

It’s not like the racing gets better just because it’s a female standing there before the start.

And this is not a bash against women, it’s a bash against hiring someone because of her looks instead of competence. Or do you guys belive that a Monster girl does that job on the track better and safer than a seasoned AMA official?.

Why have that stupid fucking board anyway? What other Motorsport has someone stand in the middle of the track to tell everyone that the race is about to start? A simple red/yellow/green light system would make more sense. Yellow would be 30sec warning, gate can drop at any time after it goes green.

The good news is she is now the most famous Monster girl ever and she has been given a huge raise and hired full time to travel to all Supermotocross races for the next 10 years.

The interview all makes sense. A lot going on in the infield and she made a mistake. The outcome of this could have been alot worse. I'm just glad she is o.k. and doesn't look like the race results were affected.
