My thoughts exactly!  Not very christian of him.

If there's someone up there, why would they care about someone putting a finger up? Probably no big deal compared to the kind of stuff that went on daily a couple of thousand years ago 😂

Awesome to see Webb get it done (again) though.

Anyone saying he's not fast or he's this or that... what more do you want? He went as fast as he could go without crashing and won for that exact reason. Riding smart and within his limits instead of finding the floor.

Remember when he fired a pistol back at Kenny a few years back. He was counting his Arlington wins on his hand just off the podium last night as well. Add to it, Eli really pumped at his ride and having a blast spraying champagne.

Knock knock

Who's there?

Eli & Coop!

Jett 😳

Don’t think Jett is all that worried, those two don’t have multiple seasons left, this is Jetta rookie season remember and he’s still the points leaders. He strikes me as someone who enjoys the challenge, rather than running away with it. He is a racer

Imagine if Deegan or Jett did that.

Better yet if Deegan pulled out the pistols people would claim he could have killed someone in the crowd.

Me and Randy started a circle jerk cause we're from the same state as the guy who won the dirtbike race on Saturday.

Spiteful maybe but pretty sure he is a far cry from a redneck.

His dad runs a surfing shop, right? That doesn't seem like a redneck upbringing.

He sold the surf shop. Coop had a red neck upbringing for sure, parents definitely didn't have money.

His mom would take him riding after school on Wednesdays to smoke me and my buddy on 450's while he was on a 150. Rolling up to the track with a Ford Explorer and a 5x8 trailer.

Every local from Coops hometown is a dick, I don't fuck with people from Newport.

Well he got his wish it's a close points battle 🙂

I think trashy is plenty fitting. Just because you have money doesn't mean you're not trashy.

Sometimes, my wife and I will watch the reruns and laugh our asses off.       She (and the cast) were a riot....you don't see that kind of live performance talent anymore.    The best parts were when they would crack each other up and they'd get to laughing while trying to hide it.

EDIT:  The "afraid of crowds comment made me laugh out loud. Grinning

I've read your posts for some time Magoofan.....so I know you are doing your part Silly

The current producers, writers, directors, and actors of SNL would do well to watch some Carol Burnett, Smothers Brothers, or Laugh In reruns wouldn't they?

As AC9, Forkner, and Craig demonstrated this past weekend nobody in this sport has any number of races guaranteed to them, not even Saint Jett.

I like when dudes get fired up but to me it seems like Webb is ultra sensitive. If someone says something that can even remotely be [mis]interpreted as a slight, he gets all butthurt and starts flexing. I guess he's one of those guys that needs that sort of thing to stay motivated. Seems to work from time to time but when I think of the greats, few got into that personal "I'll show you who's boss!" BS.

Villo, MC, RC, Dunge, etc....they just mostly let their riding do the talking. The best revenge is living well.

Guess you never watched John McEnroe play tennis or the Detroit Pistons play basketball.

Well...Webb, flipping the bird, is just sending a message to his buddy Phil that he's got shit under control and to stop busting his balls.

Let the record show that i am the first person to ever reference the comedic goddess Carol Burnett on Vital.

Yeah...I'm old too, and watched all that stuff as well. And, Carol Burnette was indeed amazing.

The ear-tugging thing was for her grandmother, to let her know that Carol was ok.

Is nobody else just confused? Don't care if he flips double birds every lap, I just don't know why/who it was directed to.

Bingo....   it makes absolutely no sense for him to do so at that moment.    You can't really confirm from the pics shown that that is what he's doing.   It is possible thats just the way it looked in the moment of arm/hand movement.

For me, the jury is out until someone asks him about it and he confirms or denies it.          I don't really care if he did it or not.   I also find it laughable the people knocking Christianity or Coops faith over it.

I think Webb's gesture was aimed at all the haters that said he was "done", or simply didn't have what takes to win any more.

I did not catch that but I’m loving it. We need every one of these dudes to have a chip on their shoulder but no one wears it better than Webb.

I wonder towards whom it was aimed. A rider? Team manager? So many possibilities!

Probably Phil

2/26/2024 8:27am

I'm sure it was directed towards team manager Jeremy Coker, but in a fun way.

In a couple post race interviews it was inferred that Coker gave Webb a pep talk before the main that went something along the lines of "Pull your head out of your ass".

Coker knows how to get in Coops head in a good way.

I watched the replay, I can't make it out...can't freeze the frames, it all happens too fast.     Looks like he just swung his fist to me.

Also, what reason would Webb have to flip someone off.    Makes no sense.

Do you realize who you are replying to...he is very comfortable wearing a tinfoil hat and just saying stupid, baseless shit all the time. 95% chance he probably is a part of some fucking extremist nut job forum somewhere to do just that Grinning
