Okay that is fucked up. I'd be pissed too. Especially when you stayed off your phone all day. I love guys that go on FB and are like "Yo spoilers alerts cmon! I haven't watched the race yet!" You're on FB asshole. I've seen someone do it here. They came on a motocross forum and expected spoiler alerts 

That has happened to me during sx.  You can't go to the sports/smx tab or the spoiler clips will show up.

I had to go to the main page and search generic terms like "round 16" to find the replay link without spoilers.

Me too during SX.

That's wild to me. Wtf

They just need to say Red Bud highlights, it happened to me also. Please remove spoiler from the title Peacock. 

They also have them labeled as round 22 or 23 which you think after 5 races outdoors someone at SX would say something 

They have round 22 or 23 because they’re counting all sx and mx races as one series for the smx playoffs 

This is probably the worst thing that I have ever heard of happening. I’m not sure how you can recover from something like this. 
 

I know, people will probably think that this is nothing compared to children that are homeless and without food, but they simply don’t understand how hard this is to deal with…..!

OP, that sucks but at least this gives me a spot to share how to not spoil the race as I normally have to watch the races on demand after work and don't want them spoiled. Since I doubt they're going to remove highlights from the sports page, here's how to find the races without them being spoiled.

Open your Peacock app. If you are searching for the race after it has taken place, DO NOT CLICK THE SPORTS TAB. I can see in your screenshots you clicked sports. It will recommend you videos that fall within your viewing interests/habits which are often their highlight videos which clearly need to be not vague in their titles and will spoil the results.

Simply go to the search tab and type in the track name and it will pull up the live streams. 

Don't click over into the "Clips" tab because that's where their highlight videos land.

I've done this enough times I can also say the thumbnail has nothing to do with the results, thankfully.

I'm sure the OP realises that hungry children are in fact a bigger deal than his complaint, but his complaint is still valid.

If it is truly important to not know the outcome before you watch it, then you’d make the time to watch it ‘live’. As for complaints, this is perhaps the most minor that I have heard in a very long time. No one’s life will be permanently negatively affected by this in any way, shape, or form. 
 

The world doesn’t stop just because someone wants to wait to watch something at their leisure. 
 

Back when I was a kid, if you missed the 6 month delayed showing of the WWoS airing of the USGP, you just phucking missed it. Sure, we all knew who’d won but we still watched the entire show even with the snippets of jai alai, bocce ball, and cricket thrown in.

Happened to me last weekend, too. I can’t comprehend the logic that goes into making that title page. Someone had to sit down and think “yeah, this is the best screen to show on the replay”.

I just have my wife go start it on Sunday mornings. Then she messes with me for 3 hours telling me hints on what color the bike is.

Can you add the races beforehand to your “my stuff “ Peacock list and avoid the spoiler when you watch the replay ? I do that to avoid scrolling through the sports section as much as possible. Sorry if this was already suggested TLDR. 

I think it's funny that the only thing I watch on peacock is SX/MX and somehow it's never on the front page when I log in. I always have to search to find it. Not to mention the races are always out of order and fucked up.

The frontpage isn't catered towards your interests, it's all advertising. Once you go into subsections (like 'Sports') that's when they start to feed you things you might like. 

Also just learned my gf is watching some show called 'Suits'.

You know nothing of the OP’s situation. Maybe the guy was busy volunteering at the local food bank? Could have been helping an elderly neighbor paint their front porch? Or….maybe the guy was working. Either way he just wanted to come home and chill while watching the sport he enjoys. 
Zero need for such a comment. It is possible to be both concerned for our fellow man and not want to have a race outcome spoiled.

It's disappointing when that happens.  I love the no spoilers tab on the MotoGP app, but granted that is an event dedicated app.

The Peacock app (edit: for Apple TV) is dog shit. It shut down a few time while watching MX. Just suddenly closed.

And try fast forwarding a 5 hour Tour de France stage. Forget it.

Yea that sucks. Peacock also needs to add a "start from beginning" option. Sometimes I'll start the race and it'll start at like 25 minutes into a moto. Sucks.

Regarding your opinion that the  FB assholes should expect to see race results if they get online the day of the race and not whine about it when it happens.  Personally, I don't  agree. If the same day, I always avoid posting spoilers until the dust has settled on the race rather than immediately and needlessly posting spoilers on.  That's just me.

How about peacock running jewelry commercials about boy to boy items. Gtfohwts.... Can't even let my kid watch races with me without monitoring the crooked shit they shove in our faces.

It's not rocket science.

Why would someone watch a race replay? Because they missed it or because they want to WATCH IT AGAIN.? Both.

Somewhere, a f*cking dweeb doing what he or she is told to do, is creating a VIDEO THUMBNAIL and a TITLE and a DESCRIPTION.  And ... choses to put a picture of the winner and sometimes enunciating the winners in the description. Look boss, does it look good ? Yeah ! Can I get a good job sticker now? Do they think it's like a movie, we need a description for it, so it will attract people to watch it? 

It should be: Race number 5, season 2023, Location:.... and the frugging thumbnail should not have the winner on it! MAybe a start picture with the top players or the track.

Many young kids in media, video, graphic design.. etc.. are nothing but computer monkeys and have forgotten the basics. Form Follows Function. What do you think is the FUNCTION of a title and of a thumbnail? think, little one. think. WHO is this for and what is the purpose... besides your supervisor.

And it's not just young ones, also frugging execs calling the shots, because things must look cool, even if they don't work. 

And people with internet websites, videos channels, modern media.. are like little kids brown nosing the teacher, jumping and yelling they know and have the answer... that's why they fucking clickbait, spoil the results. And some just like to spoil it for everyone else. Motherfruggers.

I can't go around and educate, spank all those dweebs. I have found one solution and it's really really hard. I stay of the phone/web. Then find a close friend, partner that is willing to deal with your shit and is internet savvy. Have said person hook up the dvR, streaming, website... and have them start the video... and tell me when it's safe for me to come in the room and sit down...

and guess what... She moved the mouse and the video title popped for a second, revealing the winner AWWWWW FAAACKK
