From everything I've seen, the Sur Ron is pretty much a toy for in between MTB and MX, not serious moto.
The storm bee is not a motocross bike. More like a good enduro/trail bike. At 22kw peak, thats less than 2/3 the power of my Alta MXR. And its too heavy for motocross at 280lbs.
I guess those are the stats I need to pay attention to, thank you. Makes sense, and no longer on my radar.

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Pour chicken stock into a medium bowl and sprinkle gelatin evenly all over surface, allowing each packet's worth of gelatin to soak up stock before sprinkling next one on. Set aside.
In a large Dutch oven, heat oil over medium-high heat until shimmering. Season beef all over with salt and pepper and add to Dutch oven. Cook, turning occasionally, until beef is well browned on 2 sides, about 10 minutes. Transfer beef to a rimmed baking sheet.
Add split carrots, halved onions, and garlic to Dutch oven and cook, turning occasionally, until lightly browned, about 4 minutes; lower heat if browned bits on bottom of Dutch oven threaten to burn.
Add brandy, if using, and boil until alcohol has nearly cooked off, about 2 minutes. (If not using brandy, proceed with next step.)
Scrape chicken stock and all gelatin into Dutch oven. Add red wine, fish sauce, soy sauce, and bouquet garni and bring to a simmer, then lower heat to maintain simmer. Meanwhile, cut beef into 2-inch chunks and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Add flour and stir until beef is evenly coated in a floury paste. Add beef and any accumulated juices to Dutch oven. Transfer to oven, cover with lid partially open, and cook until beef is starting to become tender, about 1 hour 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook lardons over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until fat has rendered and lardons are lightly browned and crisp, about 6 minutes. Transfer lardons to a plate with a slotted spoon.
Add mushrooms to skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms have released their liquid and browned, about 12 minutes; add oil as needed if pan becomes too dry. Add diced carrots and pearl onions and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
Remove stew from oven. Using tongs, fish out and discard large pieces of carrot and onion. Discard bouquet garni. Using a ladle, skim off and discard accumulated fat on surface. Add reserved lardons and sautéed carrots, onions, and mushrooms to stew, return to oven, and continue to cook, uncovered, until beef is tender, about 30 minutes longer.
Remove stew from oven. If serving right away, skim off any additional fat from surface. Season with salt and pepper, if needed. Allow to cool slightly before serving, then serve topped with parsley. If making ahead, cool down stew, then chill in refrigerator; remove solid fat cap from surface once fully chilled. Reheat stew on the stovetop or in a low oven.
While I admire the length and detail in this post. And I might try out the recipe . At least my long winded rants have something to do with the overall subjects being posted about. Perhaps you could post this in the thread that talks about his place being shit down and maybe Tyla can become a cook now with his own cooking show.
The big question I have is Gas or Electric stove??? I've heard that chiefs prefer a gas range and electric oven for the precise temp control. Are they half in on the electric conspiracy? ...........

LOL. Finally shipping only 6+ months late. I know, I know...material shortages and licensing issues sure. Just don't put a date on the shipment then. But I'm glad these things will finally get out there for the REAL WORLD tests and numbers. Will be interesting head to head tests. Last thing I have to poke at. The "state-of-the-art facility" picture... Its a basically empty warehouse with some work benches. Most garages must be "state-of-the-art" then.

funny that they waited for just after a mud race to start shipping bikes, I bet they knew their bike wouldnt last a full length mud race so they postponed <sarcasm>

I bet they are starting to ship the toy models...you know, because all this is fake and make believe.
I kid, I have had one on order myself a few weeks after they announced back in '21. I'm not up in arms either, it is what it is.
They shipped a half dozen bikes? Well, all of the legitimate concerns surrounding the bikes just disappeared. HATERS BLOWN OUT!!!
I have a bunch of stuff that has been Backordered from KTM since November. Had an original ETA of December 15th. Keeps getting pushed back and still do not have the items in my hands yet. There have been all kinds of delays with major companies over the past couple years. I would rather have a product be a little late , and not have a stop ride order ,or recalls , or have a new improved model that came out 6 months later that fixed the weakness.
I hope that after the bikes are shipping and are out in the wild, that Stark can put out a behind the scenes video showing the reasons for the delays and how they dealt with them. It would be interesting. I hope that some of the Never Electric people go and try out a Varg and see why people are excited about them.

I love my sons ee5...I hope that they'll have a 65 sized one, then an 85 sized one, and then a full sized one for him to ride. The lack of maintenance is my favorite thing about it! (he can get an ice bike when he's paying for his own maintenance...lol) And it is so easy to ride...it's almost like cheating compared to a KTM50sx...in fact it is like cheating. I have no doubt the full sized bikes will be the same.
In fact, I worry that they will be so easy to ride, that the sport could actually lose its soul? Part of what I like about riding dirt bikes (and why I ditched a rekluse clutch-which is an amazing product!!!-after a few years) is that its hard. One hand working the throttle and the front brake, the other working the clutch, shifting with one foot, rear brake with the other...be able to do all of that, seamlessly, at once and go fast...it's a challenge and creates a feeling of accomplishment. So at what point do electric bikes make it so easy to ride, that enough of the challenge goes away, and it loses its soul? That part of what we all love about this sport, and what gets in our blood to the point we'll suffer extreme injuries and still come back to it, is that its hard...can EMX bikes take that way?

I think that is a good question. And I hope that Gas bikes are able to be around forever so people can still ride them if they choose to.
I feel like as long as you get the feeling that only a dirtbike can provide , then the soul is still there. Riding a dirtbike at speed will always require human input to some degree. I guess it depends on what you feel is the soul of the sport. The EMX bikes could bring new life to the old soul. with new feelings and sensations that only EMX can provide. As bikes develope, who knows what will be invented for people to do now that they will no longer need to shift or use a clutch. I can think of some things. 2 wheel drive with the front wheel having its own throttle and a smaller hub motor that would allow front wheel engine braking , you could use it to pull out of a slide, recover from an endo , help pull the bike through ruts, I think it will be interesting to see what people think of . As motors and batteries are able to be smaller while increasing power and range.
