Geboers!

"Sylvain Geboers is a Belgian former professional motocross racer and current motocross team manager.

Geboers was one of the top motocross racers of the late 1960s and early 1970s, finishing in the top three of the F.I.M. 250cc motocross World Championships for five consecutive years from 1968 to 1972.[1] Geboers won the 1971 Trans-AMA motocross series championship.[2][3] Although he was often overshadowed by his ČZ and Suzuki teammate, Joël Robert, he was a respected competitor.[4] Geboers was a multi-time Motocross des Nations and Trophee des Nations champion.

After retiring from professional racing, Geboers became the manager of Suzuki's European motocross team.[4] As a team manager, he guided Eric Geboers, Georges Jobé, Greg Albertyn, Donny Schmit, Mickaël Pichon, Steve Ramon and Stefan Everts to world championships.[4] "

"Eric Geboers (5 August 1962 – 6 May 2018) was a Belgian professional motocross racer and racing driver.[1] He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 1980 to 1990. Geboers is notable for being the first motocross competitor to win world championships in the 125cc, 250cc, and 500cc divisions.[2] In 2011, Geboers was named an FIM Legend for his motorcycling achievements.[3] "

Pourcel brothers made look racing GPs in the 250 class so easy back in the days. Both where in the same class for a while. Their style and effortless was just something else.

Sébastien really turned it up on a 450, and talking about brothers... He went after Bubba at the MXDN at Donnington park at 08. He kept him under pressure whole moto and James made the mistake en Sebastian won!

Must be one off the best moto’s/races of his career, together with him and Chris winning a GP on the same day!

I think the Stewart Bros are the only duo with major championship titles. That's got to count for something.

The Pourcel's won GPs on the same day: MX1 for Seb and MX2 for Christophe in Faenza 2007. Also has to count for something.

Others:
Alessi
Martin
Lawrence
Wharton
...?

Gary Jones won 4 250 championships

I knew they raced in the Nations, more than once, but didnt think they podiumed, thought they were 4th, but you are right , they were 3rd at Foxhills.

Obviously if i was a Kiwi, i would have known.

Did i mention we won in 1994 LOL.

You guys have always been a good outside bet , when Townley came back to race at Ernee, that was awesome.

Talk about a family that had an impact in shaping american motocross... be tough to top Gary, Dewayne, and father Don. Don would make Big James look like a wallflower... lots O personality. Laughing For pure on the track individual results and championships, gotta go with James and Malcolm Stewart.

Tough not to root for Oregonians Chuck and Ron Sun or Josh and Justin Hill. Chuck having the most success, but all cool as hell.

But really have to give my vote to James and Malcolm. Eric and Sylvain Geboers being a close second.

Having been lucky enough to meet Gary Jones briefly, and chat for a bit, and Chuck Sun a couple of times, and also Eric Geboers, i can tell you that they are 3 of the most down to earth guys i ever met, Geboers especially , happy to sit and chug a quiet beer and chat , very in touch with his fans .

My friend Ronnie Ray's dad was good friends with Don. In 2008 at the Mid-Ohio Vintage event we got to hang out with the "Jones Crew" and it was one funny story after another. From accidentally finding out synthetic oil works as a pre-mix, to how they sprayed the top of the prototype Elsinore gastank drab green so it wouldn't glare in the Sun. Fun times!

I'm surprised no one mentioned Jeff and Larry Ward.

Did Tommy Hahn ever win a regional SX championship? Stewarts, Hills, Martins, and Pourcels are up there.

Indoors, no question.

Outdoors might be interesting with pourcels, stews, and martins

Moss brothers deserve a mention, PED drama aside they were both at the tip of the spear for Australian MX / SX for close to a decade

Both James and Malcolm have achieved titles in the own right.

James: A bunch of AMA Pro titles, MXoN Champ, etc.

Malcolm: 2016 250 SX East Champ.

Not taking away from anyone else's accomplishments, but within this Successful Bros. conversation, that tidbit puts the Stews a hair above the others.

I agree, with Eric 5 time champ with 4 more podium finishes and Silvan 5 time podium championship podiums.

Silvan also won an AMA national championship so those saying the Stewart's need to look at history a little better. An east coast championship is great but can not compare.

Derek and Don Rickman won MXdN together in '63 & '64

The Rickman brothers - Don and Derek -
"were already established moto-cross stars when they built the first Metisse machine in 1959, and within a decade the Rickman company would grow to become one of the biggest and best-known independent motorcycle frame-makers"
