+1. I’ll probably wait for the 22 model since I already have a 20 WE.
Anticipating the ride report...

Agree. I was against the twin pipes at 1st when going from a 10 to an 18 model, but I actually like them now.

Did anyone catch that Honda is also producing another production run of '20 CRF 450's for the '21 model year? Retail for the old model is $8599. Interesting.

That is interesting. I wonder if that just means they have a ton of them leftover...

The RWE is such a good deal. Great resell value and now you get a full Ti system with it (+ all the other things). I wish they would sell it in Europe.

I think FMF started that with the mega bomb header.

Yeah, this is much cooler than what Suzuki is doing. I know this happens informally with leftover stock and rebates, but it's cool to see it done on purpose and explicitly, and I bet there will even be some rebates on the 2020 bike later on.

How about that weight? Says it lost 3lbs overall, but 2.7lbs of that was the single exhaust. That puts the rest of the bike at a 0.3lb weight loss. I was expecting a little more considering the new frame and all.

Total weight loss was 4.2 lbs. -- New frame/subframe lost just over 2 lbs. So half a pound was gained elsewhere (hydro clutch, larger airbox assembly, etc).

Agreed, the hydro clutch adds a bit for sure not sure what else would? Larger airbox? TI tank? Skid plate and disc guard?

Best looking bike for 2021.

I’d say weight was added with tires. The MX33’s weigh a few pounds more then the previous MX3S tires. 👎

The resonance chamber? Isn’t that just a cheaper way to do it with stamped steel?

So what are the actual weight numbers? Wet and Dry

$500 for a kickstand on the RX.. plastic tank should be cheaper to make than ti, otherwise it’s virtually the same bike.. why the price increase over the R model?

New bike looks amazing, and it looks like Honda listens! Well done. But mainly as an amateur on a bike but pro in design sphere, I like the way they present new bikes. They've put some time into explaining and comparing, supported with visuals for better understanding. I like this kind of PR Smile just my 2cents

For sure, I think there is some easy weight to lose on this CRF. A set of Michelins and a Ti exhaust should be a healthy 2-3 additional pounds off. Truthfully, the 17-20 CRF never felt heavy to me at all when riding it. In fact I never felt like the KTM 450 felt lighter when riding it. Honda does a good job with lowering the center of gravity on their bikes and making them feel lighter than they are. This new model should be something special.

hahaha yeah saw that, I think the translation really meant "less prone to stall" but hell if people are dying on them then less chance of that now has to be a good thing lol

The integrated switch gear is good, I see MXA didnt seem to like it, but to me its clearer than previously (with the blue "M" for map changes, green "T" for traction control settings and the red one must be engine stop) .....better than having multiple switch gear like last year.
