For Moto I felt most comfortable on my 2009 yz450f - it did everything really well. Best offroad is my 2004 kdx 200 -- amazing.

If we're talking previous bikes it would have been. when my friend got a used 89 kdx 200 in 93. At the time we could only afford used stuff. From the 70’s early 80's. Twin shock air cooled bikes. I had a 1980 rm125 this really nice original 1980 kdx 250. Which my friend also had one. It was the most modern bike we had ridden. Front and rear disc brakes!! Modern ergo's it was a game changer to use teens. Other than the occasional mid 80's 80cc mx bike. Riding that 89 kdx 200 made us feel like superman.

Just for fun and because I'd like to hear some stories. Question: What's the best MX/offroad bike you've EVER ridden and why? For me: 2008 CRF450R Why? Among all mx and offroad bikes I've ever ridden or owned (FI and carb'd), all the way back to 1980 CR80 models, and the 2005-2007 CRF450Rs are my favorites. This is because I find them extremely well balanced and versatile, forgiving of rider mistakes, the suspension is excellent after a revalve, they have super usable and powerful motors, they are highly reliable, and have outstanding build quality. Many seasons have finished more depleted than this. 2009 is probably number 1 on that list. Langstons eye issue forced a early retirement at this point. Stewart the fastest MX racer in the world decides to not race the moto gods were pissed and he never wins a title again. Windham is SX only. RV wins the first race and is out by Rd. 2. Alessi wins the next 2 rounds and is out by Rd. 4. Leaving Reed who is finally able to win his first MX race ever. Grant who wins Red Bud then passes and pulls away...

Not confirming, but I’d guess that there will be plates and screws involved. That was brutal and he took it like a champ ! I love the guy, such a great dude and a solid competitor. Bummed if this pushes him into retirement.

I actually like it. Instead of crossing the line and immediately disappearing into their pits, we get to check their bikes a bit, Semi unobstructed view. Then see them walk around, assess their shape and check their kits. If it was up to me, there would be a mandatory SUSTAINED wheelie action required AFTER the finish line or you don't get your points.

Eliminate the 250 main event logo on the start that caused Forkner crash. Actually I like the start overlay. It’s a nice touch for non-moto viewers knowing which class is on the track.
