Not calling you anything. Just want the sport to be as big as others.

I’m for sure in the minority but I think they should go back to filming the races then editing them and playing them later. My wife and kids hate watching Moto so I always wait till they all go to bed then I stay up and watch the race. I usually just skip to the mains and I don’t really care that it’s not “live”. I don’t dislike watching it live but I don’t like paying extra and having the same old boring shit between each race.

What's funny is virtually everything about SX and Moto is cringe except the racing. There's just a low budget, half assed feel to the entire sport. The segments on an SX broadcast are all weak. The twitter shit was stupid but honestly so is make up to mud and the science of supercross.

We all laughed when Terry Boyd rubbed mud on his googles and showed how roll offs work. Seems quaint now. Sumo suits at intermission? Jesus. County fair bullshit, thowing crap in a pick up for time? Really? It's always been cringe but it's ours.

The sport suffers from old blood syndrome and a stick up the ass mentality. Until there's a dose of fresh people and a willingness to spend some money and take the sport to the next level, this is what we are and will be. I think there's more concern with retaining power and staus than doing what's best for the sport.

There will always be filler segments on the broadcast. These are usually beer/snack/bathroom breaks for most viewers. I don't know about you guys but I would much rather see Juliana's face and body on the screen than Jeremy McGrath talking about whatever he talked about during the A1 broadcast (I didn't pay attention).

If this world wasn't so PC now there would definitely be a way to incorporate bikinis and hot bodies into the filler segments. For example, Juliana could make stops at the team tents in a team colored bikini and interview the mechanics about the bike as she sits on the bike in her skimpy JGR themed bikini - "So J-Bone, can you tell me the suspension setup you are using tonight? Does it ride rough and hard through the whoops? Are you going with a longer travel fork tonight? Is the rubber hard or soft? "

Ratings would skyrocket. Sex sells.

This is the dumbest train of thought I’ve read on this topic.

You know who watches SX? Dudes between the age of 14-50.

You know how many dudes in that demographic do not watch the broadcast because there isn’t enough sex? Very little.

But you know who IS alienated and not watching supercross because of the way our sport has always portrayed women? (In bikinis and talking very little) WOMEN. Half the population. I’m sure most of the dudes in here’s wives hate watching SX for the reasons that you want to bring back. How hilarious. Good thing you’re not in charge of “growing our sport” or we’d be ignoring half the population so you can see more cleavage on a SX broadcast instead of looking up anything you want on your phone on your own time.

You sound like a teenage boy. Grow up. Sex only sells shit that’s useless. I love motorcycles. That’s why I watch races.

Diffey, or Jason Weigant for me 100% . D-Blair or Langston in the other seat. Ralph uses too many dumb phrases that literally NOBODY else in the sport does, and he sounds like he's narrating a children's novel with all his repeated "storylines."

I just can't stand how he stops calling the race to exaggerate past incidents. If he was there last week we would've never heard the end of it with the Forkner and Tomac incidents. It's a short and intense form of racing it's not Nascar. If you waste a quarter of the race analyzing one incident, it's pretty much guaranteed you'll miss other moments in the race.

I just wish they’d use the split screen option for commercials aired during an active race. It sux missing racing action especially during a Main. F1, Indy Cars and NASCAR all do this during their live broadcasts.

There hasn't been commercials during SX races in years.

The pussification of our Country is so sad. Do you want a gender neutral class in SX too?? Instead of Juliana's segment guys like you can all watch a "drag race" segment hosted by Caitlyn Jenner?

Diffey is 100% professional and knowledgeable. I think Ricky does perfect for what he is there for. I do not miss Ralph's over the top excitement which leads to a lot of errors and gushing over Ricky.

Ricky was much improved because Diffey is far better than Ralph.

+1 on the I like Ralph. I think there's probably a lot of people who are 100% ok with Ralph, but the negative people tend to voice opinions more than the positive people. Ricky is doing good, and there was nothing wrong with Emig. The guys doing outdoors are just fine in my book as well.
I will admit that Art and David were the best we've ever had, but again, the current guys are just fine.

That 2nd paragraph is unironically the weirdest thing I've ever read on this forum.

I'm not sure which SX races you're watching, but the ones I watch every Saturday from January to May show all of the racing live, with no commercial break. Heats, LCQ races, AND mains.

All I want is for the commercial breaks with the gold pass, to be filled with slow motion pillow fights between Dianna and Mercedes.

Wait a minute...is Ralph making that much per episode to make that much of a difference to a company that large?

We all laughed when Terry Boyd rubbed mud on his googles and showed how roll offs work. Seems quaint now. Sumo suits at intermission? Jesus. County fair bullshit, thowing crap in a pick up for time? Really? It's always been cringe but it's ours.

The sport suffers from old blood syndrome and a stick up the ass mentality. Until there's a dose of fresh people and a willingness to spend some money and take the sport to the next level, this is what we are and will be. I think there's more concern with retaining power and staus than doing what's best for the sport.

I count two solutions offered.

Paragraph 3 sentence 2.

1. "a dose of fresh people"
2. "a willingness to spend some money and take the sport to the next level"

Problem -“Everything about the SX production is shit and the segments suck”

Solution - “Different people and bigger budget!”

Real helpful contribution.
