This kid continues to really raise the bar on the track and unless I've missed something seems to have also cleaned up his interviews. Hopefully he's converting some of the naysayers into fans as he starts to click off his list of dominant W's. Of all the riding styles on the track, he's at the top of the list. He's what every one of you wants to look like on the track, which is a hanging-it-out-hauling-ass-on-the-edge type style. It was noticeably uncomfortable seeing how much air time a kid going backwards was getting because of who his dad is. I was thinking to myself, "um are we going to show the leader at any point in this race?" Hate that he crashed, but it at least got Bondo focusing on the other riders in the race.

I've never really followed Haidens amateur career until this year, but he is really starting to grow on me. Seems like a pretty humble 16 year old kid for such a big following and spotlight. He will be a star in the future if he keeps it up.
