Forkner is getting penalized 1 position. Craig up to 3rd and Forkner drops to 4th.

Although it barely looked like he checked for oncoming traffic
HE WAS ON THE TRACK. He didn’t have to re-enter. He cut the track because it was easier than dealing with his mistake.

I think he should be fired from PC, DQ'd from the series, and be forced to break up with his fiance for cutting the track.

My children were in tears when they saw him do that and it infuriated me to the point that I kicked a hole in my TV because of it.

Lifetime ban, he can keep the fiance, she'll probably leave on her own when he works at Popeye's Chicken.

Bro, watch in slowmo again. Didn’t look up the entire time from when he hit the tuff block, to when he entered. That was far worse than the actual track cutting, which was pretty bad itself.

Should be docked 2 positions alone for that cringe podium interview.

Haha, I've been there. It gets better. Once you get them interested and they know who riders are they will sit with you and yell at the TV WITH you! Its cool!

This is why he should be penalised. He hit a tuff block on the right hand side of the course. Then he span the bike around and exited on the left hand side of the track. He made a mistake, rode off the track once he'd regained control, and then re-entered the track next to Ferrandis.

If you don't have same ammount of titles as Marc Marquez you can't do same shenanigans as him.

if FIM run this place 4 real. He would be DSQ and start the StLouis Main Event from Arby's parkling lot in Chicago.

You fork it boi.

I don’t agree with much you post, but I’ll be damned if this one isn’t spot on. That hurt to listen to.

Aside from cutting the track, how about him walking across the entire lane he was in. I know the bike kind of jumped off the toughblock sideways in the lane but the way he was walking across the lane, not even looking to see who's coming... I was waiting for him to get T boned

The mistake he made put him facing the wrong way at the end of a rhythm lane, the common timing of that fast rhythm put him on the landing of a triple. He did the the safest thing for himself and on coming traffic and get the hell out of the way..

Forkner was docked two positions. One for cutting the track, one for advancing his position (pulling in ahead of Ferrandis).

If he'd cut across like he did, but waited for Dylan to go by before going back on the track, it would have only been one spot.

I could be way off here, but would it make any sense to Black flag, and pull someone off the track in that situation? I get that might be overkill, but by letting him stay out there he can effect other riders race, when he's not even really battling for said position.

What a COMPLETELY asinine suggestion.
No more asinine than your original comment of him barely cutting the track and no penalty. Not only did he cut the track but he gained a position while doing it.

I think that's fair. I'm a fan but he straight up cut the track when he really didn't have to.

Now we know why he cut the track. You lose less positions if you cheat and cut the track.

Reasonable call. Does he get to keep his fiance?

He didn't even think about it. He just swirled the bike around, rode backwards on the track and over to the other lane. He didn't even look to see if anyone was there until he was already in the middle of the track. Ferrandis could just as well just have landed on him if he was a smidge closer.

Fellas, let's take it easy. Clearly he should be immediately pulled from the series and follow WADA protocol so he can possibly race again; depending on the boards decision in 4 years.
