The blue bike has more wins this season than Honda, Suzuki, and Husky.
Combined.

Hell of a ride.... Roczen had nothing for him if he didn't have the tip over. I'm excited to see what Plessinger and Barcia can do outdoors.

AP has never been a great Supercross rider IMO. He has been horribly inconsistent his entire career. His season is going pretty much how I expected so far.

Looking forward to seeing him outdoors tho.

I have never been a great supercross rider either. But since AP has never been a great supercross rider than holy crap, I'm going to enter myself in the 250 supercross next year and get myself a 250 championship!!! Some people really need to think about what they are writing before they hit submit!

Most regional champions go on to the 450's to have what would be considered "average careers". AP looks like another "average" 450 rider.

We're bench racing about professional supercross riders. It's ok to have an opinion. It doesn't hurt the riders feelings. Only yours apparently.

My feelings will never be hurt in this forum! Of course it's ok to have an opinion. My opinion is that you saying AP is not a great SX rider is ludicrous! Every single one of those guys that line up every Saturday night are great riders!! And don't you think that it is a bit too early to class AP as another average 450 rider?

We can only base our opinions on the facts we have. So far his best finish is a 5th and average finish is 9.4. Small sample size but pretty average so far.

I guess everybody's definition of average is different. His average finish of 9.4 in my opinion is awesome. That puts him inside the top ten of the best SX riders in the world (in a very competitive field this year) in your first year to me is way better than average!

Probably worth noting that Atlanta was very rutted too... AP does well with those balance beam ruts.

I see Aaron just taking his time riding somewhat cautiously and attempting to get through his first season on the 450's without getting hurt. He got a little sniff of the "front" the other night and I'll bet that he continues to trend upward in the pack. I can't wait to watch him outdoors.

Barcia won a mudder. Aside from that he is hit or miss. KTM is currently ahead of the curve and all of the Japanese bikes. Simple truth and at this level even a small advantage is a difference maker. Roczen and Tomac may get an occasional win, but that will be it for the "big 4." Remember Mcgrath when he went to Suzuki for one year? No one wins championships on sub par equipment.

Worst looking bike out there. He looks like Larocco on the 450, miss his 250 style.
I definitely hate the black front fenders.

Don’t use too much common sense or everybody will lose their mind on here. It’s unreasonable to vital keyboarders to think that some bikes might give riders an advantage compared to others.

Not sure why you think that, he won the West coast title in 2018. Plessinger seems to always improve and learn. I think he’ll be a top contender in a season or two.

He needs a white bike or an orange bike if he wants to win. The blue pig just isn’t the winning combo to be on.

Get him off that blue 450 already, jeeez! Painful to watch these guys try to ride that thing in supercross. AP ripped on the blue 250 and so did Webb...both of them horrible on the blue 450. Turn the damn motor around already and move on with a new bike that works for these guys in Supercross.

Fuck off dude, this shit is getting ancient at this point. Reed almost fell in the second corner, guess the suzukis must turn like shit then right? Marvin almost died about 1000 times out there tonight, I'm thinking the KTM must ride like shit basically everywhere then right? Tomac struggled in practice, better not even consider a Kawi at this point. The guy screwed up, possibly just ended his season, and you're first reaction is dig up an old thread and spew the same old bullshit you've been spewing for years, lame as hell.

Absolutely gutted for AP, the guy doesn't deserve this and I really wanted to see how he could do outdoors after a solid season indoors. Hope he can come back in time for Hangtown and build with a solid run at the nationals.

Wasn’t everyone saying the same thing about Webb the last couple seasons? Kids had 8? races on the big bike and you’ve written him off?

I ride an old POS 2006 Suzuki but guess what, I don't cry when people call it a pig. So calm down, it's just a bike and the bike happens to be a blue turd for Supercross....no one is picking on your personal bike, so get over it

Do all defensive Yamaha owners happen to notice it's the only bike with the damn motor mounted backwards??? Not only mounted backwards, but with a different head angle? Is it too much to comprehend that this (gyros/COG/Physics) just might be affecting the handling of the bike at the highest levels of racing?? If you can't acknowledge this, then no one's going to take you seriously.

If you happen to check the Supercross results from nearly the last whole decade, you'll see that "central mass" = ON YOUR ASS

Don't shoot the messenger...just ask JS7, Reed, Grant, Webb, Barcia and now unfortunately AP

This will continue to get more and more "ancient" until they turn the fu**in motor back around in that 450...

With all this said, I would not have a problem owning a blue pig for the riding I do.

And yet a "backwards" 250 has won at least 3 lites championships and 4 out of 5 outdoor championships over the last 5 years. It's not the c.g.
