Ask Honda, they didn't seem to be able to. A lot more goes into a production tune than just changing the map. The bike has to perform in a wide range of conditions/fuels and there are reliability concerns. I understand that is beyond the comprehension of most of the heathens on Vmx.

No, not all customers are equal. Some are more important than others, hell some customers are downright defective.

You have no idea how I treat people Maybe stick to what you do know. I bend over backwards time and time again to help people and quite honestly I’m tired of it. I pull all nighters so kids can go racing the next day I help tons of people trackside for free when needed We give local kids parts...

It showed 3 months after I was told it would with no contact info clearly shown. I had no idea who sent it or what it was and had forgotten at that point about the conversations had prior about the job. Originally I was asked if we could fix only the leaking drain bolt. And that it would arrive completely...

What GET ECU has not been returned with what customer. we have NEVER done such a thing. And if there is a claim as such - I need the persons name and info - and I'll search all our contact. and make that right. I post under my real name. I don't hide behind my keybaord - and I don't...

I don't know if I agree The make more power from about 9000 onward And most people ride way past 9000 when they have the throttle more than half open. The initial "tip in" of throttle is weaker - commonly referred to as "bottom" but really it means turn the throttle more....and get more The engine could easily go back...

When not one, but the ONLY 2 in the field are up front And someone says they aren't competitive at the pro level???? Not to mention the riders claim to be very happy with the bike - which is ALWAYS suppossed to be the case - but double that with great AVG starting position ALL year... there is an idiot...

I’m trying to not get involved, but your comment about no top Am’s will run the 250 is just plain wrong. Before you spout off lies you might want to check how Suzuki’s amateur program is doing this year.... particularly with the Barx team. Plenty of wins and podiums and tickets to LL.

Most castor oils wont mix well with fuels of low specific gravity - but there is more to it than that Your solution is to add about .5 gallon of pump gas or about half a quart of acetone to your 5 gallons of race gas - it will mix and stay mixed that way in cold temps, hot etc.

From the test is seems the riders liked the motor a lot. 4th brand to go finger follower set up, more cam, bigger bore, shorter stroke and bigger valves for more rev. I guess this is the new 250f trend, just hope this new high RPM trend doesn't start leading to reliability issues even with stock motors now turning 14,000 RPM's plus. Manufactures will always try to out do each other. It's now really becoming a high HP war in the 250f class. As long as the bikes stay reliable its great for everyone. 2020 250 shootout should be interesting!

Suzuki has had twice as many holeshots as Husqvarna in the 250 class and four times the amount of holeshots as Honda, and only one behind KTM. Considering you are wanting to go in to percentages, would you not then have to factor in the total number of each manufactures bikes on the line. In Which case you could argue that as a percentage Suzuki is probably leading the way in holeshots so far this year.

Each rider has their own can The cans are clean prior to being filled - and are specific to each rider for the season I still can not believe people have issue with this?

Define how much more power do you think they have???? Engine development happens slowly and there are no secrets in that world. You are limited by certain design factors in most engines. For example - the rmz isn't a down draft style head or intake. The head flow and quaility of flow is limited by this quite a bit -...

The team says loose hose The reality is it could have been a broken part from a vendor - you just dont know. However they are smart enough that they work with and promote their sponsors. JGR has 95 percent of this figured out better than anyone. They need that winning punch to cap it off - or go far...
You think the japs aren't motivated as is? I guarantee you they are...but they also have a way of thinking that isn't revolutionary - rather evolutionary. Yamaha has mentioned they have a durability standard they cant meet at lower weights...although quite frankly Im not seeing that translate to reality vs ktm. In any case - KTM can no play with...

Far less stinky than VP on the good stuff It's one of the "sales pitches" of the ETS Last I tested - it was good but I saw slightly and I mean slightly more power on pro6 However Im told the ETS stores longer and is better at high ambient temperatures

The factory 250 RMZ is better than any legal privateer bike on the track Take any privateer you like, plug him in on that bike - and he will improve. We could easily argue the ktm is "bad" based off what we've seen thus far....hasn't been a good year for ktm in 250s The issue is getting rider's to buy...
