Not good for Feld if one of these gets in the hands of someone wanting to follow through.
Not sure when they started “cookiing” dirt but I am pretty sure they have no one on staff to do the calculations and chemistry background to assure the mixture, both dry and wet, are not harmful to all parties involved not just the riders.
Forget the lime. All the jumps were piles of dry dirt. When there is a red and yellow line of storms on the radar the length of California and a 100% prediction by the meteorologists and a mudder is inevitable. Minimize obstacles, per lane, do away with triples and any other obstacle you may have to hammer the throttle over and utilize that dirt to fill overly flooded, muddy areas. Make a track where guys are not doing 360’s on the faces of jumps getting stuck just from stopping, etc. etc. At that point you cannot make it any worse. Call me a pu$$y or whatever But I was there and I watched on tv and it sucked! And to all the blowhards that’ll scream it’s motocross, its a dirt bike etc. etc. but where are you when the first drop of rain hit your local track??? If you are there you load up and blast out of there faster than lightening bolt and if its rained the day or two before, more than likely you do something else that weekend. Aaron Plessinger rolling around with the skids out is no fun to watch nor is anyone else that roached their shit and thier skin for the sake of “the show must go on”
Geez thats got to hurt.
I’m wrecked from the weekend. Burns all over from the lime in the dirt. Legs, stomach, chest, shoulders, butt, and balls. It’s rough. I feel for all the riders that have all the same. Stuff still burns so bad. @SupercrossLIVE @FeldEnt pic.twitter.com/KFozRUXqia

Feld needs to take care of these guys big time...... Everyone who rode that day
And If any of those ktm junior kids are burnt someone’s going down. won’t be the manufacturer. Will be the promoter....if My kid got burnt. I’d call Tim misny....
Pit Row
Big Bag, Little Bag, Truckload...
Maybe take a nap or order a pizza.
Doesn't really matter.
We’ve seen all the reports. The riders and mechanics have done a great job of voicing their concerns on social media. I also don’t think it’ll get ignored or glossed over.
This is not exactly new. We’ve seen it happen to bikes more than a few times in the past (going back ten years or more), but this is the first time I can remember riders complaining about burns.
I’ll be honest, after seeing all that I was a bit spooked when I opened my camwra bag this morning. Looks like everything came through unscathed there.
Generally, I have a pretty good idea of when it’s being used, as my eyes will get really dry. This time around, I’d guess it had to do with how much standing water there was on the track, which splashed onto everyone, and everything.
