And you had to decide right now
What would it be and why ?
Pic preferred.

I would buy a New 18
KX250F just because i have always wanted a 250f
I like ergo's of Kawasaki's and think they are a great deal

Beta Xtrainer. Love my new bike i bought towards the end of last season.
Rides like a 4 stroke, but loves to lug. Doesn't have that 2 stroke hit which is nice for the trails. Solid pull off idle til it signs off.
Has a lower seat height due to the 10% smaller frame, being 6ft tall it's nice to be able to easily touch in the woods when needed.
Suspension is a bit lacking, but out of the box it's better than any stock bike I've ever had in the woods.

My next bike will be a Honda ( enduro ) XR 450 / CRF450L or a CRF 400 special edition...
I’ll take a decision after a test ride. It will be a Red Moto anyway... sold my holiday home in Romania after my divorce so I don’t need a 2 stroke anylonger for tight mountain trails... Enduro stuff over here is flat out wide open so I only need to stiffen up the suspension. 4 strokes ride way more comfortable on hard pack and tarmac, I'm lacking stamina for those bottomless deep sand stuff... it’s mostly hard pack or intermediate these days, use it mostly for MX tho...
a 450R is way to much for me that’s why a 450L or 400 RX.

If you factor in cost, it can get tough. Living area too.

What is a 400RX? is that a legit bike for sale or a photoshop someone has put up?

2019 KTM 350SXF or 2019 YZ250F. I would lean towards the YZ.

Well I'm broke from Christmas shopping so if I HAD to buy a bike tomorrow it would have to be one of those $400 coolster pit bikes you see for sale on Craigslist.
