He'd be a no brainer fill in ride for them.

Considering the history Goose has with Honda, I wouldn’t see it being an issue

As ambassador...yes. Makes great sense to both parties. Great retirement situation for Reed.

As a team rider...no, unless the thinking is that 15th is better than no Hondas on the track at all. With all due respect, even a factory Honda isn't going to put Chad Reed on the podium these days.

I still say Brayton is the perfect Seely replacement.

Heard through the grape vine that Goose is working on a performance race shop back home.

Not that it has any ties with Reed getting a fill in ride.

You don't have to be all secretive. You could have just said the bagel delivery guy.

Hell yeah, the 34 year old arenacross guy who's never won in Supercross is way better than the 2 time 36 year old 2 time champ with 44 wins and 100 something podiums. Perfect.

Scientology? Reed? I've got family members from by both mine and my wifes side deeply embedded in various leadership, it's some crazy stuff. I'm not sure how much of it they believe but we don't talk about it.

See what you all are failing to understand is that it's about bike sales. Championships, race wins and superstars sell bikes. Not the guy fighting for 5th-10th place. Chad Reed is a superstar plain and simple. Putting a 15th place Reed on your bike is like hiring Carmichael, Villopoto, McGrath or even Emig to be your brand ambassador. The factories don't care about a 10th place J-Mart. It's all about the sales. I am a Reed fan and I hope he heels up and puts all the nay-sayers in their place.

He's had it going for a few years now. I don't know how much work he does right now, but I do know he's had it for a few years

Brayton has been doing better at every round than Chad has. If I’m not mistaken, he’s done a couple of top-10 finishes! Reed hasn’t gotten close. I realize he’s riding in pain & is pushing mid-30’s too...but Honda would look better the closer to the front that they can put a red bike.

Chad is going nothing at this point for Husqvarna...especially running KYB forks!

I don't see how Byrne working for the Rocky Mtn team has anything to do with it. I also thought JT$ has mentioned that him and Reed still talk??

I wouldn't want to see Honda strong arm Brayton off motoconcepts when they just started getting good results.

According to vital,. People dont buy bikes because of riders. Anybody buying a bike because a pro rides that brand is a fool. Buy the bike you ride and like , not a bike they ride. Not even close to production.

Yep. It sounds like Reed is still the most popular racer in the pits. Nobody else will bring more fans by the Honda semi in the pits. Reed is still in the opening ceremonies. He usually gets air time on TV. Seems like a no-brainer, provided the behind-the-scenes stuff can be worked out.

I thought Brayton had a Title sponsor commitment on MCR?

J Mart Now or Never sounds like a good plan to me that 250F isn't doing him any favors right now.

I am a CR 22 fan but come one really guy is 35 ???

Riders from the 450 main last week that Honda could give the bike to. The question marks are because they are contracted with another team although not factory backed.
