Lectron has been selling carbs that self-compensate for temp/elevation for years. I am not a fan of them for MX, but they work great for offroad riding that spans environmental conditions. They also tend to be smooth and linear and not have the "hit" that most people associate with carbs. The downside of EFI for offroad, unlike MX, is that you can get far from your truck or home. Not ideal to have some electrical gremlin in the middle of nowhere.

The real problem is that $50.00 isn't worth $50.00 anymore.

Similar situation for me. The issue is not the money. Its that by continuing to pay, they will continue to raise prices. Every year now has been constant price increases and they seem to get more egregious and more emboldened.

im in the same boat. this was talked about in the LA WSX thread a couple weeks ago. When you figure in gas ($7/gallon here in los angeles), parking, food, drinks, taking a family of 4 or 5 is gonna set you back around $1,000 these days. No thank you. I'll pay my 12.99 to peacock, BBQ dinner at home, and sit on my couch and watch it, then fall asleep with a half drank beer. Whats crazy is I remember paying $25/ticket for A1/A2 around 2020/21. Its stupid now.

Nashville 26 was my last Supercross. 200 per head for 2 tickets, 80 to park. Spoken as humbly as possible, I am not hurting for cash. But you're right, there comes a point where it's just insanity. They aren't trying to expand their customer base, they're trying to juice the customer base that remains.

I think they should help, or cover, basic costs for teams to come over. Bikes and parts shipment, and a set number of team support. Take in to account the cost to fly over vs close drive. As for riders..I actually don’t want riders paid. Why? If you watched the race, it wasn’t about that for the riders there. Are you going to pay “x” rider what he thinks he is worth…and then not pay the number 3 man from Team Mexico? It changes the spirit of the event that I just watched. Yep, picked for the team less than a week ago... Didn't get to ride this bike until this morning. Was happy to see him running P8. I'm willing to give him a little slack on this one.
