It looked so good on the start. 😪 Well the race pace for team Czechia is not there. The only hope would be Kovář scoring TOP10 in OPEN out of the blue... but he lacks his secret weapon... he rides 450 4stroke. 🤮

He’s gonna have to find a little more consistency to finish inside the top 8 and to USA any chance to podium. His fast lap was solid, and right where he needs to be. But he’s fallen off in the later part of the race. Running 2.06-2.07 lap times isn’t going to cut it.

Agree...  As for qualifying, I think most of us expected to use Levi and Coop.  And hope that Beaumer could just get some experience on the bike.  He was running P8, and needs that kind of finish in the MX1-MX2 moto.  Still, top 5 has to be the goal, podium would be a massive over achievement.

I’m sure JuJu is still figuring some things out. I’m just glad he got in the mix early. The weight of Team USA is on Webb and Kitchen. USA just needs one good score out of JuJu.

I think if Beaumer can finish inside the top 8 in one moto, USA will have a chance to finish on the podium. But I agree, shooting for a top 5 overall result is more realistic.

Plenty of people have jumped up to a 450 for this race in the past, in the same way they drop down. And this is one of the weakest fields in some time. He shouldn't be getting worked like that.

And they usually have 2-4 wks on the bike by then. Remember when Anderson and Barcia were throwing down on 250s in practice jockeying to get picked a couple years back.

Beaumer got 1 day on a 450 not even his mxgp bike for this weekend. sheesh.

I’m wondering if he bent/twisted something from the crash. Pre crash he was looking solid running in 8-9th place. Which is about where I’d expect him to be. Post crash, his lap times fell way off.

Shame the 350 hasnt had any race development in a long time, Beaumer mighta been better off on one with such short notice, especially on this track. Heck, staying on the 250 might have been better

Idc how the US finishes. The higher the better, of course. These dudes all stepped up while others wouldn't. I have never been a Webb fan but I sure as hell am now. Hearing him talk about what this race means, I'm sold. Jujujumped a a 450 with zero prep? He's a 250 rider FFS. All heroes

Great post and observation about the 350. Especially considering you ride a 350 more like a 250

Yep, picked for the team less than a week ago...  Didn't get to ride this bike until this morning.  Was happy to see him running P8.

I'm willing to give him a little slack on this one.

So much for all the complaining about the gate pick lottery.

Prado wins from 40th pick.

Ahhh you’re from GB. Still mad about the 1700s I guess. Buzz off dude. He’s a good kid with a good attitude who stepped up and is giving it hell. What are you doing today?

I agree, I think the 350 would have been an advantage at that track and being able to ring it out like a 250.

Just expected more from Beaumer, even given the prep.
