Even though I gave up dirt bike riding for about 20 years (I always knew I'd be back) I had that thought for the first time yesterday. I'm 56 years old and 2 weeks ago I was riding my mountain bike and it started raining on me. My glasses started fogging up so I slid them down my nose to finish the lap. Because it was getting slick, I swung wide in a corner to hit a root ledge straight on, unfortunately the way my glasses were slid down they were blocking my view of the stump that sent me...

Y'all are so caught up in defending pros it's funny. You literally can't see where I'm coming from, at all? Honestly, my initial opinion was toward the "sportsman" designation but it sort of morphed into vet wide this year. I never said made money. I may have said "made a living" or "making a living" a time or two. If guys want to ride on the same track as them, go to the vet nationals and ride vet A with them, where they should be. No one's racing brown in his current classes because he's admitted hes sandbagging his ass...

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ 90% of those guys on that gate for +40 are not former factory riders. I'm sorry, but beating 38 plumbers, accountants, etc (weekend warriors)., as a former factory rider running #1 is comical. That goes for any top former factory guy.

You did. Here's my hating the game, not the player, rant. So damn silly. Congrats Mr. Baker Brown. You train factory dudes and probably whoop on alota them, have factory support, get paid to race, and your bragging you know you could still be racing nats if you wanted. Good one. It's like lebron going to the local YMCA. Golf clap. Go race pro sport and I'll cheer your old ass on for sure, along with all the other old PRO's who can still get after it because they stayed healthy. WInner of moto 1 +30 sportsman raced 10+ pro...

I've never won anything through gambling, raffles, etc in my life. But this weekend I was the ONLY person who picked the 1-5 positions plus the #14 wildcard place perfect out of the 200k+ people who played the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Fantasy Saturday night. So my son now has a brand new Fly Formula 2 getting sent his way. Just had to brag and also give Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Fantasy props. It felt like winning the lottery to me.

His original point is that the bike's speed is dictated by gearing and RPM; a good running YZ250F and poor running one will both be going the same speed on the limiter in 3rd (unless the clutch, tire, or something in the driveline is slipping). From a quick google for YZ250F specs: Max revs: 13,500 rpm Primary reduction 3.353 (57/17) [not certain this is correct ratio but it is ballpark] 3rd gear ratio: 1.444 (26/18) 4th gear ratio: 1.222 (22/18) Final gearing: 3.846 (50/13) Rear tire: 110/90-19 (26.795" diameter) Circumference = pi*d = 84.18" Assuming you aren't quite on the...

Many of you know my son passed away from Fentanyl around 13 months ago. Today a detective working on his case made an arrest of a 52 year old from Carlsbad, they caught up to him down by the border. He is in custody and current charges are possession of narcotics for sale and first degree murder. The detective presented the evidence to the DA’s office and it was unanimous to arrest and take it to trial. With a $1,000,000 bail I am thinking they have a pretty good case against him. It is amazing what the detective told me...

Scrolling is not great for multiple stats. I like being able to look at the gaps between riders and scrolling would completely ruin that. They sometimes show the rider's face, sponsors and stats which is nice to see from time to time and puts a face tot he name. Plus screens are so big today, this scoreboard really isn't messing up the view. 17% of the horizontal space is taken up, what are we really missing?

I have had no game for most of my life, but when I was 18 or 19 I had a fake ID, and I had a buddy that used to always want to go to the club and try to hit on girls. He would mostly strike out. I hated the environment, you can't hear what anybody is saying, so you are trying to talk to complete strangers by just yelling in their ears and I didn't really enjoy it. It was pretty pointless to even be there. One night though I had some extra liquid courage and I actually...

First date. Took the gal to the movies. Afterwards, sitting at the light in my hot rod Gran Torino (thinking about nasty stuff)...I decided to impress her. At the exact moment I nailed the pedal...I looked in the rear view and saw the fresh gravel pinging off the cops windshield. Followed immediately by the blue light of "You're fucked". She wasn't that cute anyway

My dad had a bitchin' 1987 Honda VFR700 in the most incredible Sapphire blue color. One day, he let me borrow it, and I rode with some friends down to Mission Beach in San Diego. Clear blue sky, girls rollerskating down the boardwalk, etc. No sooner had I pulled up in the parking lot and taken my helmet off, but the most gorgeous, perky little curly-haired thing I had ever seen cruised up and asked me, "Oh my GOD! That bike is amazing! How much did it cost?" I blurted out, "Nothing! It's my dad's!" She was like, "Cool, thanks."...

Brings back a funny memory from High School. Went to the movie theater with some buddies to watch Ghostbusters. It's before the movie, lights still on, getting seated...and this unbelievable "out of my league" girl is looking back at me. She's 2 rows below me, but is clearly giving me the gaze. I smile back. She then asks "Is your name Gary?". "No!", I blurted out, "It''s Ted" And that was it. She says "Oh, Ok" turns around and sits down to watch the movie. Stranger next to me looks over and says "Next time, your name is Gary"
