Matt Burkeen is a good story.
The only possible answer is Grant Harlan. Working under the AMA tent at Daytona I've seen him do the walk of shame many times (Bringing your transponder back) on 250's and dude is killing it in the premier class. So awesome to see a guy stick with it and to have it pay off.

There should be record kept for top finisher out of van and pickup truck. Maybe since 2020 to keep it in the modern era. Impressive how Jerry was doing everything himself and seems to prefer it that way to keep busy.

Maybe Masterpool? He was top privateer in 250s. Im not sure if he's a pickup truck privateer or a support rig guy.

He'd have a story or two, or a Hundred.
I think all of them, the Nationals, and Locurcio may be part of his effort?
Jeff Walker might be a good one! I like his YouTube channel as he rides a lot of the local tracks around me.

So who's next?
We haven't lined up any further. Flights are pretty pricey this Summer, so having an extra videographer at the races hasn't panned out.
You should look into Pape, either as a video or itw! He’s been doing pretty good, top10 in 450’s. True privateer too!
