Sorry, need to brag a bit. With all of the threads about tracks and riding areas closing, I wanted to make this thread to show that it is possible to grow the sport! In 2024 I hosted a single off-road event. The first ever in my region. Last year, I had two events. In 2026 I was able to host three events at three venues, and run a little series. Fifth overall is pretty damn good considering Levi was the only guy on the team who had more than a week on his bike. Coop definitely pulled his weight, and Juju did really well for being thrown straight into the deep end.

Third year running now I've put out updated leaderboards for foreign born riders in AMA SX and MX the week of Motocross of Nations. With his four wins in motocross this summer, Jett Lawrence took over the top spot for winningest foreign-born rider in AMA history. Hunter climbed up the win and podium charts pretty rapidly this year and Jo Shimoda is now the rider with the most Lites class podiums among foreign-born riders. Hi there, from Western Australia, when Covid hit I was going stir crazy, so I decided I needed a small track at home. I lease my property so I needed to keep the project to a small area. (The track is just under an acre). I started off with 4 short lanes that then over time has gone to 6 x 100 metre lanes plus the 2 ends so roughly 700 meters. I don't know of any that rent bikes and/or gear. I'm not sure you can just ride Oak Hill much anymore either. They do mostly training there now and are only open to the public on select weekends and that is typically only one day of a select weekend. Really sucks but it's few and far between. Not sure when you travel to the DFW area, what sizese you are and what skill level? But I have 30-32 and 32-34 pants and plenty of gear, including googles, gloves, jerseys.
