For anyone interested, I have 2hrs on my 27 yz250f now and I'm pretty impressed. Bike is still completely stock and it is surprisingly good for someone of my size. It will definitely need heavier springs but it is still very rideable and fun even with the stock stuff. Motor isn't a rocket off the bottom but definitely not bad, it's smooth but then pulls into a strong mid and top end. I think result wise, Haiden is doing well, he is the 3rd guy. No he is not as good as Jett and Hunter (maybe he will, maybe he won't), but he is better than Prado, Hampshire, Ferrandis and Marchbanks. How good compare to Sexton, Cooper or Eli ? We don't know. I just reached out to Honda Racing management and Lawrence management; both responded, stating the rumors are BS, no further crashes or injuries have taken place, and he will be racing this weekend.
