Well I guess I know the answer is probably because the whole reason the FE was originally introduced was to allow the new model to be raced a year early, so no need for a 350. But I seriously reckon ktm could produce as many 350 FE's as they wanted and they would all get sold, especially if they came with pro component suspension like this year. Would be the ultimate vet bike ha ha.

Suspension mainly front fork is harsh, rideable but with a proper revalve you get a substantial improvement. Gearing, I believe with the smooth power Yamaha chose gearing that made 3rd gear usable, but its landed more in middle ground not really beneficial for 2nd...
