1/13/2024 10:55pm Congrats, 300 smoker with a carb...winning. I grabbed a steal on a low hour '24 300SX with all the right mods in place. I didn't want to go injected, but the electronic PV and ignition mapping...Butta'. These 3 stroke are the perfect 4 stroke alternative, IMHO. Went +1 tooth out back for 3rd gear in tight rutted turns. Yeah, '22...

So I am drinking a beer and staring at this beautiful hand-built bike from Italy. I can't believe I splurged. My buddy bought a 2023 and I spent some time on it at Rio Bravo and it is really good. I have a collection of 2005 Suzukis that are pretty modded and fast and hard to ride. I decided I wanted a 2 stroke with a go button that is easier to ride.Us old guys are lazy. Hopefully, Rio Bravo opens tomorrow before the freezing weather and rain come in. I putted around my track today to do a heat...

There were a few times out doors, off the line midpack but came out of first turn up front. Finds incredible gaps between the riders to exploit. Seems to feel out the track early then decides where and how fast he wants to go. TM

If you aint fast enough to pass the second place rider, you aint fast enough to pass the leader either. Coop threw what he had at Jason and could not pass. And for the next time, get on it earlier then. Don’t wait 15 minutes to make a pass if you want to have a chance to win the race..

He also only has 2 sx titles in 11 years. Yet ppl talk like he knows how to manage a sx series. Of all the all timers he is the worst at managing a sx series.

12/31/2023 4:59pm Unlike a YZF cam picking up oil from a bath, the KTM cam receives oil via a tiny hole. Small particulates can clog. Best sell after two seasons, as they are saving weight in the engine castings. If you ain't so fast...maybe things will last longer

Took my neighbor who is also my riding partner which is where is was hidden. 6k out the door on consignment 1.3 hours on the meter.

12/31/2023 4:51pm Stolt it. CopperSmith does a great fork feel with one leg Ohlins spring cartridge. The air side is low pressure tuned for anti-bottoming. So much bite in flat turns.

Mrs Santa got this for me on Christmas. Very sneaky she is. Has heard me talk about how bad I hate my 4stroke (18/350sx) for 10 months since I got it and one broken ankle and did something about it. Gotta love a moto wife. First ride was this weekend, most fun I have had in 20 years. Not saying 4T are bad bikes quite the contrary actually, don’t want to start another one of those, it just was not for me. I ride for fun not competitive and this was pure unadulterated joy!

It makes its power a lot quicker than the 350, riding back to back on both its def more of a lugger bike. The most effective way I’ve found to ride the 350 is as if you want to murder it absolutely wound out. The 300 I like to ride a gear high knowing a quick blip of the throttle moves you fast.

12/30/2023 11:54am What are your current settings, BTW? Everything that is. Were the Super X carbs ordered/received at the same time? George has been updating/changing X passage, needle jet tube, air correction and pilot sizing. As he tries to finalize specs.

These guys are in a riding group and have different bikes ranging from 250cc to 300s with different modifications ranging from different heads, different compression ratios, and similar jetting, and they all have the STIC Super "X".
