i had the chance to ride a 24 300sx back to back last weekend and i must say i expected it to be better than the carb version but its not. it has a smoother powerband but is not any faster. i was surprised how much cleaner my bike ran with the jetting recomended above. the fi bike felt richer/dirtier on the bottom end compared to the carb. i am running a 27.5 pilot over the 25 but the temps have been in the high 50s low 60s and the 25 was right on the edge of being lean. i do have to adjust the air screw as the day warms up but it runs so crisp and clean. the carb bike does have alot more hit so its personal preference as far as how you like your bike to run. i need to get a longer silencer as i do have a shorty and i have been thinking about trying an xc head to get rid of some of the hit as it can be a handful.

I have the 24 300SX, but I only bought it bc the seller dumped at least $2k on both engine and suspension upgrades. Crisp and clean, revs out nicely with a PC Works pipe. Considering the linear PB, I see this as my 4t alternative. For more thrills, I turn to my upgraded 200SX.

I keep thinking how wonderful it must be to purchase these 'ready to race' TBI bikes. Then realize, you have to basically take it to a Tuner...how is this better than changing jets and needles? Well, I guess some ppl will be impressing each other with which Tuner they used.

Are you suggesting a Keihin and the STIC metering block kit over the STIC Super X complete carb?
The current website for STIC seems to lacking objective information. Is that the correct source to obtain application, technical support and pricing info?

Just a heads up,

There will be a test report coming out from the "Five Guys" from California. These guys are in a riding group and have different bikes ranging from 250cc to 300s with different modifications ranging from different heads, different compression ratios, and similar jetting, and they all have the STIC Super "X".
