A lot of good advice from those above. But, give thought to how You have been riding your 4 strokes. If you're a revver / especially if having been on 250Fs, a 250 2t might be better for you. If you have been 'torqueing around', like many of us Older Riders ( though, you are but a baby at 58 ..... 😁 ) do / did on 450s, a 300 might be a better fit for you. And, as I often say now, there's the 350 Beta 2t to give thought to.

This weeks review pod is so cringey. Matthes comes off as a tool. He won’t even engage JT when Jason backs him into a corner over the Roczen talk. It sucks that as a fan of the sport if we want info we have to listen to these guys.

Steve Mathes is a bum. Looks like he's insulting Eli to get views - I wish everyone would stop listening to him. Never liked his arrogance, and him coming onto vital to defend Rich Taylor after shutting down my favorite track (LACR) was his nail in the coffin for me.

I mean Eli is making a point here. If someone wants to represent themselves as a professional journalist then they should speak/act/tweet like a professional. The “haha” at the end of that tweet from Lewis makes him seem like another dumb kid on the internet. Nobody has any idea what Eli is going through so to speculate and then also add condescending bits like that to the speculation and call yourself a professional is pretty retarded. You certainly don’t deserve respect from one of the fastest dudes on the planet when you act like that. I feel like moto journalists...

Phillips comes across as a wanker sometimes. Reminds me some of the brit sterotype looking down his nose at us uncivilized Americans. One reason I like Weege so much… fair, friendly, enthusiastic about the sport, courteous, still brings/ presents us with good info. Without a doubt the best moto has as far as guys that are not past champs in the booth or reporting.

The first time I ever heard this “journalist” was a Herlings interview a few years ago that was so cringy and I was instantly convinced he’s a tool. Every time he’s on pulp I’m half tempted to just turn it off. Maybe he’s a great guy away from all of it but he certainly comes off like a pompous douche lately.

He is the most arrogant and condescending person in our sport that laughably calls himself a journalist. Take a look at his Twitter feed it is filled with Tweet after Tweet making fun and being condescending towards one of the biggest legends of our sport. Imagine someone with the life achievements of Lewis Phillips constantly degrading and making fun publicly someone of Eli Tomac’s achievements 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ And he even does it in Tomac’s country of birth meanwhile he is from GB! Ole Lew needs to pull his head in.

lol lil Lew has been a bit too big for his boots lately. Ive stopped listening to LvK and the Vital pods because of Lew. Hopefully some self reflection is on the cards for the aussie Journo. Mid season slump perhaps?

I don't know how much the broadcast showed him, but I was there today. I watched Eli like a hawk in qualifying, heats, main. The track looked amazing all the way through qualifying #2, but it was progressively drying out. Eli didn't look as fast in the heat as in qualifying but the track wasn't absolutely gone yet. But the sun came out for an hour plus and after the 250 main in particular you could see the track was so shiny and baked—it was 100% incompatible with a scoop tire.
