So, back to the pipe, I’m sure Pro Curcuit, FMF, and the others are already getting dimensions and getting a pipe ready for this one. Like I say, I think this bike is gonna do well with mods - ecu, pipe, head, etc is gonna unlock this thing.

If it’s anything close to the Ktm300sx/Xc…most of the tuning/ improvements will be within the ECU…they will probably be pretty conservative stock….I look forward to the testing/ reviews of the production bike, the more 2 strokes the better!

Right. They have to produce these bikes for the masses. I have rode 300 amd 250 sx tbi bikes that have had some work done and they go from 0 to oh shit real fast. Surprising enough the 250 that had some tuning among other things was a absolute missile.
Anyone here actually raced a 350/450 4t and a 300 2t and can offer a comparison?
My last 3 bikes have been a 2022 KTM 300 XC, 2024 YZ 250x and currently a 2025 Beta 350 RR race edition (4 stroke).
I fight for wins in Vet A offroad and still practice moto quite often. I can probably offer some pretty good comparisons between the 3.
The KTM 300 is an excellent all around bike minus the suspension. I spent more money trying to get comfortable on the suspension than I’d like to admit. No matter what, I could never get it right. The bike was very good on hard enduro terrain, solid on MX, and good in a typical HS race.
The YZ 250X was a blast to ride, the suspension is really good out of the box, and it’s by far the least amount of maintenance among the 3. You just ride it and beat the piss out of it and it’s always going to run great. It was not very good on hard enduro, solid on MX and very good on typical HS terrain.
The beta 350 four stroke is an amazing bike. It’s very good on hard enduro, very good on MX, and very good on typical HS terrain. It does absolutely everything really well. It’s by far my favorite bike I’ve ever had (been racing for about 34 years and have had probably 30+ new bikes during that time)
If I had to rate them by type of riding I do it would go like this:
Hard enduro:
YZ 250x
Motocross
1. Beta 350
2. YZ 250x
3. KTM 300
Typical HS terrain
1. Beta 350
2. YZ 250x
3. KTM 300
For me, I love the Beta 350 because I like to ride a little bit of everything and it does everything really well. I ride with guys who all they do is hard enduro, so obviously they go for the KTM/Husky/GG, beta, sherco 300’s. I also ride with guys who are strictly moto, so they go for the moto bikes. It’s all what you ride and what you’re looking for out of a bike. I don’t ever knock any of these bikes because they are all fantastic machines and are totally capable of doing more than most of us can ever imagine doing on a bike.

I raced my yz450 and yz250 and now my crf450 and the yz250 on the same day all the time. What do ya want to know? Lap times vary from track to track, I’m never faster on the smoker but more often than not I legit run the exact same times. Certain tracks I can be a few second faster on the 450.
This past day in the dirt I race them back to back so the track was pretty much the same and over a 5:30 second lap I was within .25 second best lap to best lap.
450 is way easier to race, 250 is way more fun to race.

Love it sounds great, he said it's slower than his 450 but that's to be expected a full on mod 400cc single 2t is pushing high 60's to get into that sphere. Happier with the bike every video I see of it.
