You probably got those downvotes for the " stifled piece of junk" part lol, but I agree it sounds kind of.....weenie. Really I think it sounds lean and underfueled, but I also think that's a common deal with injected 2t's, which is probably why they go up a little more in displacement than you might expect for the average rider that will be buying them. If the bike feels like a torquey 265-285, then it's a win, imo.

I noticed the rpm sound and was wondering if that’s related to fuel injection. I very briefly had the first husky fuel injected 125 and it was similar if I remember correctly.

This is the new owner it seems: elpbrands.com Yup, it's time to forget about JT Racing... nothing left of the original brand. Having said that the previous owners that brought back the brand a few years ago didn't have much of a vision for the brand. The new owners have at least a vision, but it ain't pretty!

I just threw up a little in my mouth... ** I grew up using JT products. Sad.

Ok, up front, I'm an old school guy. I'm older than dirt. I admit that. I grew up wearing and admiring the JT Racing brand. So I've been following them on FB and elsewhere over the last few years. They have apparently been bought out yet again, or maybe the current owners just went ape sh*t or something? Their new marketing 'slant' is beyond stupid in my opinion. I can not relate to anything on their new website, or within their gear line. As far as I can tell there isn't even any legit Motocross stuff. I guess they have...

Never owned a Kawi and I have never been a fan of them but this bike looks sweet, and it sounds good in the video clips but the injected 2 strokes never quite sound a s "raw" as a carb 2t, they usually sounds kind of loaded up which I think is what being are keying in on. I do worry about the fuel injection portion as a guy that works on tpi and tbi Huskys and deal with their random and odd sensor issues, runnability etc. This is the reason I still happily kick start my yz250

I’ve noticed that all fuel injected 2 strokes don’t sound right since they first came out. It’s like there’s a rag stuffed in the airbox and it can’t breath. Carson Brown recently posted a video of him riding a bike that came fuel injected, but had a carb conversion kit put on it. I think it was a KTM 150...

This is what I saw, and told myself the track was just ripped 3ft deep. The OEM pipe material is very thick like a "gnarly" pipe The OEM silencer is huge The head is cut for low octane piss fuel It sounded like a 2 stroke sounds when the power valve isn't opening all the way. I'm waiting to see one with a race pipe, high comp head, and race gas. Then I think it will want to stand right up and salute. The Beta 300s are like that.

It's been said 100's of times on Vital. The U.S. amateur system is broken. We turn out guys that know how to ride, but don't know how to race. When the feeder system is broken you develop major gaps in talent...and that's what's happened over the past 15 years. The 250 class is full of arrested development. There's a couple of reasons the rest of the world is coming here to race our series. First, Infront is starving them and second, our money is fairly easy pickings...especially in our outdoors series. No offense to them, it would be hard to...

With the age of the majority 450 class... I always said once 1 of the main guys retire they'll all retire with him. Tomac is going first. Ferrandis is likely to follow. After 27 SX; Roczen, Webb, Craig, McElrath, Savatgy, Barcia, Plessinger, Stewart, Anderson, Nichols...

Because 250 is broken. It doesn't develop the next generation. It encourages guys like Hampshire, Craig, Macadoo, and Kitchen who will never be top 450 guys to sit on spots that are needed to develop the next crop. SMX Next is what 250 was supposed to be.

Is it the oldest ever? Villopoto retired at 26, RC and Dungey at 27. There were 5 guys younger than that on the track today. 15 are in the 30+ class. 1. Haiden Deegan — 20 (Jan 10, 2006) 2. Ken Roczen — 32 (Apr 29, 1994) 3. Jorge Prado — 25 (Jan 5, 2001) 4. Cooper Webb — 30 (Nov 10, 1995) 5. Joey Savatgy — 32 (Feb 19, 1994) 6. Dylan Ferrandis — 32 (May 31, 1994) 7. Aaron Plessinger — 30 (Jan 25, 1996) 8. Shane McElrath — 32 (Aug 11, 1994) 9. Jordon Smith — 31...

Attendance Looked bad on TV, and even worse if you consider Ángel stadium Is only 30 milles away and is always a sold out venue (Even with 2 rounds), San Diego has very good attendance also. Did SX had this low attendance back when they race It at Dodger Stadium? The LA Coliseum finale in 2023 also had low attendance, if you struggle to sell tickets for a Dirt Bike race in the Dirt Bike mecca of the world (SoCal) its a very good sign the SMX Format IS currently a faliure
