My guess is Max thought for sure Dirty Deegan wouldn't take out his own teammate.

I think he thought Danger Boy wouldn't hesitate to take him out, so he moved out of the way and let him by. What he didn't think, would be that Danger Boy would actively try his best to take him out.

Bingo! I don't agree with riding like that, especially against a teammate, but that is definitely why Deegan hit Max's front wheel.

It all makes sense. Anstie is a threat. Why let him get 2nd and gain 3 points when you can knock him down and make up 10 points. It’s just simple math

He wasn´t able to start it again, and it can also seem like he lost fwd momentum heading into the turn, not just the front tire that slid out...? Also, top notch commentary by Malin, so exciting yet so heartbreaking. But congratulations on a top performance, Gifting and Sweden had deserved a win today!🥲

Probably until the original casting patterns wear out. When they are forced to pay for new tooling, they'll either redesign or quit.

Thanks for caring, guys! Nothing to do with altitude sickness, however. This came out of nowhere and has snowballed into three or four things. I spent four nights in the ICU and got out of there this morning, so that's good. I'll be quiet for a bit as I figure out how to deal with this stuff. Thanks again.

Let me preface this with a statement to ML512: If this crosses the line as spam, I’ll delete this reply immediately. I’m just grateful y’all let us tell this story as it unfolds but don’t want to compromise the rules or spirit of the forum. OK, disclaimer out of the way. Yes, I have shirts. I bought 100 @ $3.11 per shirt to hopefully raise funds, and just recently figured out how to ship them for under $5. (The first few I sold the usps flat rate made it pointless at $11 plus tax, but I was happy to have...

Well, truth be told, I started it a few years ago… It was initially a BYOB (bring your own bike) program, and I helped some kids get parts and gear to go racing. Last season, fellow Vital member Dirtbikemike decided to step back from fielding his arenacross team, opening up the door to partner with Motonation Suzuki (his dealership partner). So, I did what any smart person with a baby on the way would do… I bought two RM-Z250’s, and some engine parts from JGR and started knocking on sponsors' doors for parts help. Last season started out rough with...

Yeah your ability to deceive the insurance company is reduced when you have to take a ride to the hospital and the paramedics at the track have filed paperwork. The plaintiffs are never listed as the insurance company from what everyone else has said about subrogation, so not sure that’s a very informative data point. Either way it sucks that the legal and insurance systems combine to hose the track owners.

I've had insurance try to find out where, when and why I was hurt so bad, but I've always done a redirect. We all have. Why, because we walk the track, unload our bikes, gear up, go to the gate and we know it's our responsibility to make it home safely--nobody else's. Do I see reasons to sue? Yes, but this is not one of them. Send out a second gate of riders backwards on track, I'm lawyering up. Or like I said earlier, run a dozer or water truck on track before making sure it's empty. That happened up...

How many times recently? In my early days of riding, no issues with insurance but I would say that I’ve received the questionnaires from say early 2000’s and it’s gotten more common. My last accident in 2017 with a ride in the meat wagon was an insurance nightmare to say the least and I have and always had top notch medical coverage. Took a year and a half to resolve and luckily no one was sued but damn that nearly drove me insane and made me truly understand how some people go “postal”.

Not sure if you have had to go through this recently but insurance called me and discussed my last good one looking for someone to reclaim their loses from. I suspect if I had the extent of injuries (and corresponding bills) that ML described they would have dug deeper but wasn’t worth trying to lawyer their way through an insurance waiver in my case.

I’m just here to say this - I have not watched the video, I haven’t read the court docs, I have no intimate knowledge of the situation in question….. It’s been 7-8 years since I’ve spoke with Rich, but - Rich Taylor and his family have always been some of the kindest & most genuine people you could hope to be meet. He has spent years in the sport as a legend and so far as I know it this is the first negative thing I’ve seen come about with his name attached. I don’t know any of the details...

If that's all you got from ML's post, then you need to re-read. It says SPECIFICALLY that the suit will be in the injured parties name even if the insurance company files suit. Not cooperating with the company stops payment of all claims from the Insurance to the injured party.
