Another person that hasn’t read the facts in this thread….you may want to read some of this thread before commenting…
I'm sure that would be interesting..... if it wasn't in the thread anymore. Looks like you have your "facts" wrong again. I don't blindly follow cooksey. Can't say I'm a fan of his. But I get it you have to make sure everyone knows how bad you dislike "kooksey"
The facebook boomer motorcycle pages are already spreading this around like wildfire.
Think this says more about the American medical/insurance industry than about a track, or the Taylor’s , this doesn’t happen anywhere else in the world

Anyone of us who chooses to ride our bikes accept your fate. NO property owner is at fault, unless they drop something on you or are negligent. You left the house to twist the throttle
What are you blathering about Don? I said on Page 1 that it's shady to sue somebody, I'm not trying to defend Cooksey at all.
How do I have the my facts wrong? Kooksey put up another video of half truths and outright lies again just to stir up the mob and get clicks…and you felt like it was your obligation to “inform” the masses of his truth…please tell me what I missed?
I believe you missed the multiple posts explaining how insurance companies are behind the lawsuits…and its them that are shady and not the Taylor’s….
How can anyone in here that watches any of this guys videos actually rush to judgement without all the facts and just on his word? Just reading these comments, he has the story wrong the races wrong, his disdain for the industry and certain people has him so jaded he wants to drag “Loretta’s” into it out of spite.
Guy is a tool and anyone basing their opinion on any situation he speaks on needs to do fact checking. He certainly doesn’t. Clickbait, wanna be who acts as if he is the TMZ of Moto. I hope people are smart enough to get the truth of anything he says before passing judgement on anything he speaks of. He says he hates scumbags, It should be hard for him to look in the mirror.
He is right about something..People do need to be held accountable and by all the people who have commented on the video and in here about hurting the EKS brand and specifically the Taylor family, I hope he’s held accountable for the vomit he spews.
Facts are like I said above I don't blindly follow him, not a fan. How did I try to inform the masses of his truth when I dont even know the whole story? I can already see holes in his story. I don't know what happened, thats why I made the thread to find out. I'm not like you where I jump to conclusions. Hopefully we find out what actually happened soon.
You are 100% correct…the guy is a shitbag and it absolutely blows my mind that people actually believe his bullshit and take his insane video takes as fact….As I’ve alway said if common sense were common then everybody would have it…
Yeah ok….did you edit your original post for clarity or did ML….
It's still on You Tube....
ML did because I didn't know very much at all. What I posted is still up with his edit below.
Yeah and how often does that happen where Michael feels that he has to edit the OP to clarify the falsehoods in the post…you knew exactly what you were doing and what was going to happen when you posted it…what makes you any different that Kooksey? If you're so innocent then lock or delete the thread….
He means in this thread.
Now you're reaching and jumping to conclusions again. Goodnight don.
Yeah ok…then lock it…but you won’t because you started the thread to stir the pot….and got corrected by admin in the process…
Pit Row
You are very passionate about this topic.
He really is, I didn't get corrected by admins. They just added their part below my original post. I know better than to take a cooksey video for truth. The fact he wants me to delete and lock the topic is weird? Id like to find out the actual truth. Cooksey just posted another video doubling down on the first one and saying everyone is trying to cover it up.
Anyone who takes the risk of riding a moto track, crashes, and then files suit and threatens the future of the track and the livelihood of the track owner deserves a special place in hell(sounding more and more like that's not the case here). Under the same breath, anyone who makes a public statement that is even partially untrue which threatens the existence of a company and the livelihood of it's owner also deserves their own little lake of fire. Facts aren't fully known, but we know for sure at least one of these guys deserves to be ostracized.
It’s b/c it’s riddled with miss information from both Cooksey speculating and people not reading the entire thread before commenting. It’s highly unlikely the Taylor’s personally sued the track but more likely the Taylor’s insurance company is suing/sued the track. ***note: insurance companies don’t like to just pay out medical bills and if they can find somewhere/someone else to get the money to pay, they will. in this case sue the track for it.
as someone else said, it’ll be insurance co’s and their lawyers that shut tracks down and not individual people specifically.
yes we all sign waivers but I was told that that it isn’t worth the paper it’s written on, for either party.
lawyers shoot holes in it at every word.
I've been around this industry for a long time, broken a shit ton of bones and even had my share of ambulance rides and 1 helicopter flight, and not one time has my insurance company forced me to sue a track. Not sure about all you guys? I've heard some nasty injuries from some badass mother fckers on here, were any of you forced to sue a track? Not sure why I'm getting piled on when the only industry people defending Rich & Family are people that collect checks from Eks.
How many times recently? In my early days of riding, no issues with insurance but I would say that I’ve received the questionnaires from say early 2000’s and it’s gotten more common. My last accident in 2017 with a ride in the meat wagon was an insurance nightmare to say the least and I have and always had top notch medical coverage. Took a year and a half to resolve and luckily no one was sued but damn that nearly drove me insane and made me truly understand how some people go “postal”.
It was private for a few hours, now its back up.
Not sure if you have had to go through this recently but insurance called me and discussed my last good one looking for someone to reclaim their loses from. I suspect if I had the extent of injuries (and corresponding bills) that ML described they would have dug deeper but wasn’t worth trying to lawyer their way through an insurance waiver in my case.
I've had insurance try to find out where, when and why I was hurt so bad, but I've always done a redirect. We all have. Why, because we walk the track, unload our bikes, gear up, go to the gate and we know it's our responsibility to make it home safely--nobody else's. Do I see reasons to sue? Yes, but this is not one of them. Send out a second gate of riders backwards on track, I'm lawyering up. Or like I said earlier, run a dozer or water truck on track before making sure it's empty. That happened up here in the PNW about 4 years ago and I totally understand why they sued. Even when there's not enough or any flaggers on a packed ride day, I take note of the situation and decide if I want to risk the bisquit. I'm not suing after I decide to take the risk when someone lands on me.
And according to the lawsuit Cooksey showed in that video, the lawsuit states Zach and Rich Taylor are the plaintiffs, not Blue Cross Blue Shield, Providence or whatever. What am I missing here? Is it just because the news came from a Cooksey video? Shit, if this post started with ML's description and not Cooksey's. I'd still feel the same way.
Kooksey Doubling down. Calling Rich Taylor names and acting tough guy when common sense would tell you Rich can’t comment. Such a dirtbag.
He admits he doesn’t have the facts, made false statements and says it doesn’t matter. But it does! The court of public opinion matters when you talk out your ass and it hurts a business and someone’s life long reputation. Hopefully, people see this dumbass for what he is. I hope the entire Taylor family can find the energy and means to burry this guy.
its so disappointing seeing people online jumping in and giving this guy props or even taking his words as fact. In my opinion he’s got some mental problems where he needs to feel accepted and needed.
Yeah your ability to deceive the insurance company is reduced when you have to take a ride to the hospital and the paramedics at the track have filed paperwork. The plaintiffs are never listed as the insurance company from what everyone else has said about subrogation, so not sure that’s a very informative data point. Either way it sucks that the legal and insurance systems combine to hose the track owners.
What a shock.
Cooksey the stupid gumboot got a nugget of info, added 1+1 and got 12, then made up a bunch of stuff, and got all the important details wrong.
who knows what really happened, but to openly admit you don’t know all the facts, and then blast people in that fashion to an audience of 10s of thousands of people, including no doubt many customers of X Brand shows a persons lack of integrity.
But hey, it gets the clicks, and clearly he doesn’t care who he hurts, or minds tarnishing his own integrity to get some precious clicks.
The dude is an absolute squeezer and I have no doubt 6th grade was the hardest 3 years of his life. 😂
