I for sure notice the difference in the clutch pull when I pull it on while braking hard into a corner. Maybe I don't notice it as much as I've been running a slipper for 10+ years so it was 'normal' feeling to me when I put it on the Yamaha. Still running a cable clutch, however I've become much more anal about ensuring proper lever play. Thus far I haven't had an issue with lever play causing clutch slippage and thus burning up plates faster. Hydro clutch looks interesting but I really don't want to bother with the bleeding...

You know what strikes me as odd. I have never once in my life ever purchased a bike based on what pro rider was riding what bike at the time. Never ever crosses my mind. I have many times purchased products of sponsors who were sponsoring specific riders and still do to this day. I have no explanation why that is.
