Thank you, I'm around 250 currently working to drop back to 220 again. Any lower than that I'll be starving myself and taking a folding cot to the gym lmao. I had a 2023 Honda CRF250r and it was an absolute blast. Are there any decent rebates going down on the TF250s?
I’m 220 and 6’0 tall. and it is a very comfortable chassis, don’t mistake that for not responsive though. Great front wheel feel and tracks great. Pulls me around no problem. I have a 23 crf450rwe for comparison.

Thinking about picking up a Triumph sometime at the end of the year, anyone a bigger guy who owns the 250? Currently own a KX450X for desert and a YZ450F for MX. Currently its a back and forth between the KX250 and the TF-250, I love the front wheel feel on my KX450, and after some work on my YZ...

I know Arc has some but I'm using ASV atm their site has the Magura/brembo but I'm not sure if those are correct. I reached out but they havent responded back yet due to...

Anyone had an issues with clutch slipping when hot? I did a single practice start with LC to test it out about 6 months back, the launch was clean without issues. However since then I've noticed random clutch slipping, I figured I fried the plates which already had about 100 hours or close to. I just replaced my discs and...

I’d usually agree with you but to me, tires are very noticeable. You could turn all the clickers you want and I wouldn’t feel it. I can feel a tire swap tho.

Nice. When I was racing more, I would have jumped all over this. One of the biggest performance upgrades I noticed was having fresh rubber in the right compound and psi for the track.

I'm between riding sessions. Quick comments. There will only be 13,500 of these tires for 2025. Factory capacity is limited in Japan. Exclusive to KTM dealers for one year, then it'll open up. KTM partnered with them on this project and got first dibs basically. Both have a performance improvement, but the front is bigger change. Has it's own characteristics. Price is about 20% higher than standard MX34. Performance is up, durability is supposed to be about 10-20% worse. Not massive, but they will wear quicker. The front can be pushed harder in braking and under side load. Tire doesn't...

I think you’re the only person I’ve ever heard say that. 😂 Give me the 34 over the 33 any day.

Well, truth be told, I started it a few years ago… It was initially a BYOB (bring your own bike) program, and I helped some kids get parts and gear to go racing. Last season, fellow Vital member Dirtbikemike decided to step back from fielding his arenacross team, opening up the door to partner with Motonation Suzuki (his dealership partner). So, I did what any smart person with a baby on the way would do… I bought two RM-Z250’s, and some engine parts from JGR and started knocking on sponsors' doors for parts help. Last season started out rough with...

I don’t understand why the moto community acts this way. We hate on our own so much. Who cares who’s buying this tire. People have been asking for Dunlop to release a spec tire for a long time.

I was the guy getting your take offs. $100 for a set after someone used them for one race. My mid-pack self didn't care about the 2 tenths lol

I know that feeling, I was pulling them of the tire wall with the track owners permission 😂 New tires were a fever dream with how great they are during that first heat cycle. I would gain a few seconds with a new set personally. Part of the reason why I race dirt bikes since its so much cheaper.
As someone who road raced this is painfully true. 600 dollars on a set of slicks a weekend, and sometimes two sets a weekend if you're real fast or if the track eats tires. Lightweight bikes are a little cheaper but still 400 or so.

If you realized how cheap motocross is compared to road racing you’d know that isn’t even a consideration for a great many of folks out there who want to be competitive.
